I use it only in my home. Very sturdy, stable. It will last for quite long for sure.

Practical stand for sitting musician

I had problem with tall micstands taking away space on the stage. This one is small, sturdy and reliable, taking not much room. I make it as tall as I need.

Excellent

Excellent stand, solid weighted base, good boom extension. Good for sitting down performances, children, etc. Recommended. Only theoretical disadvantage is the plastic knobs on the tightening screws, but has been fine for the last two years. Not much sag if using normal handheld or instrument microphones.

The Sellotape of Mic Stands

90% of the time you want one of these, live or recording. If you have a really heavy mic (like a tube condensor or a large ribbon mic like a Coles), or you need to get a mic lower to the ground you'll want to consider an alternative.

But for most applications you'll just want as many of these as you can have.

Does what it is supposed to

Pretty cheap and worth the price imo. Light weight and stable.

Great quality stand, easy , stable, descreet. I use it for classical guitar, cello, percussion, drums and many more. Will buy this again!

Good stand

just like the last stand I bought from K&M, I never go for the cheaper models, because I want something that will last me a long time, this stand is another well built sturdy and strong competitor for reliable stands. and I'm not at all disappointed in this one. I'm very happy I bought it.

Reliable mic-stand

We use this product regularly, and it is performing well. It's light but stable, and doesn't slip even when fully extended. We're v pleased. It was recommended to me... and now I can recommend it to others!

Microphone stand

Not the best, but far from being the worst.

I use this stand to mic up banjos, accordions and other acoustic instruments along with the occasional guitar amp.

The stand, while advertised as K&M does not reflect the standard of their other products that I have bought/used. It doesn't have the weighted feeling and the fittings are not excellent.

For the price, it does the job. I'd rather have known it was not the normal K&M standard before I purchased.

Buy only K&M

Don't waste your money on other stands than K&M, these do last forever unlike slightly cheaper ones which fall apart on the first gig.

Fantastic stand!

I bought these stands in order to mic up a number of acoustic instruments in the same room without creating an obstacle course to navigate. They are so compact and don't take up anywhere near the same amount of room that a full size boom would. They are very versatile in terms of having all of the movements needed to place a mic exactly where you need it. They are also very sturdy and the build quality is very good. Overall a great purchase and I may be buying more very soon.

Very nice price/quality

I use this stand in live shows as well as studio recording sessions, it represents some of the most well spent money in my career.

It was cheap compared to some of the options from some other well known brands but is almost as sturdy and just as functional.

It's heavy enough for every kind of mic I've thrown at it until now and light enough that it doesn't burden me too much when moving from one gig to another.

For my needs it has been perfect.
