Geat to record cabs

It's small and sturdy. I use mine to mic guitar and bass cabs. It's handles heavy mics with ease.

great stand from K&M

As always K&M makes good proucts. All my K&M stands have been of good quality and never given me any headaches. it's not an expensive stand, but it handles so much better than other cheap stands I have used. I bought this to replace for the kick drum mic. works great. no slack and stays in place when set to its position.

Bought this excact model for the really low profile. But it will probable perform just as well for micing up guitar and bass cab.

I have other K&M stands that are getting close to 20 yrs, with some abuse, but still perform really well.

Very disapointed! I use it as a bass drum mic stand. I can't tell i'm quite satisfied and it's not even the cheapest product. I expected better results.

Quite stable mic stand. Very useful for studio recordings. So far very happy with it.

Usable but not the best model.

Very nice stand!

Love this stand! It's worth the money. It's very small so it fits perfectly on my bass drum, which has a small hole at the bottom.

Good

Its a good stand and is great for bass drum mic. Only problem, there is Millennium stand, that costs 2x cheaper, but is same quality product. Only difference, that this stand is a bit lower, so you can put it in bass drum a bit deeper.

What I should have bought in the first place

There's and old adage - buy cheap, buy twice.

This is especially true of mic stands.

I bought this to mic up my little vibro champ amp and as a less intrusive stand for mic'ing up acoustics.

The cheaper stand which this is replacing, really isn't up to the job. I must have saved a tenner at the most buying the cheaper one, which now just takes up space.

This one does the job it's supposed to. It happily holds a large condenser mic in place and makes mic'ing my amp up a lot easier. I haven't tried it on an acoustic yet but I'm sure it's fine - I have other k&m's. It will be ideal for mic'ing kick drums, which is it's main purpose but it's good for guitar amps, acoustic instruments (not as an overhead - it's too small)

It's a mic stand - there's not much to say really - it does the job. And that's all it needs to do. Cheaper stands don't, from my experience. You're not saving much on the cheaper stands - you'll only have to replace them so just get the K&M in the first place.

There are other solid stands out there - we have some in the studios I work at but I never look at the names on things like that.

Just get the K&M because you know it will do the job.

Little heavy piece... Good for kicks

It is a brilliant piece. Solid, small and all. Only a 'but' which is that length vs folding is a little awkard, and cost some turns and twists to minimize size and/or to position on bassdrum. All in all, good product.

The best in its class

I use it for every gig and every studio session.

Super sturdy, super quality for the price you pay. It holds it's place like a champ, never failed me yet.

If there's just one thing I would change it would be it's weight, sometimes it gets a little bit out of balance if the mic is on the heavy side, but generally no problem at all.

Would definitely buy again!

Short Kickdrum boom

Nice and sturdy. Really short so easy to transport. Very lightweight. Stays in place with a kickdrum mic installed.

the stand for the kick drum mic !

I use it for micing a kick drum, but you could also use it for micing guitar amp etc. As with any other K&M stand , this is a top quality stand, it is small enough so you can carry it in bag with your drum hardware and on stage you can place nicely so that it doesn't get in the way of other band members. Reccomended!

Great Micro stand for my amp!

I love this tripod and use it all the time. It's a great price and the functionality is top with the extended pole!

I've used this on my amp stood up 1foot of the ground and also for recording acoustic guitars when you need something that won't get in the way.

Attach your mic and get rocking!
