Can't go wrong! The beast!
This K&M stand is really a beast. It holds mic's that are heavy, like the Rode NT1A and even the classic Shure 55SH. I use it in my studio, and it feels good when you have trusted gear always behind you. This stand gives safe feeling.
Stable microphone stand
Really nice microphone stand for bass drum microphone. Perfectly stable. I also use it for guitar amp and bottom snare mics
Stable.Solid.Perfect.
Quite heavy bottom of that stand, but for a reason. Great quality and versatility. I use it for handling the mic for guitar recording.
Peace of mind reliable
Use for anything with a 1/4 thread mounting hole. Table, Zoom recorder, camera etc etc
The one and only kick mic stand
Fantastic quality
This stand is sturdy and well built. Very good quality.
Does the trick.
Simple & strong with a small footprint.
Easy to fit around cymbal stands & such.
Product oozes quality. I am finally happy seeing more products made in Europe!
Great tabletop, and with a few small additional accessories, floor microphone stand too. Make sure to get the following, extra parts for it which will allow you to switch back and forth between tabletop, sitting and standing sessions:
1. K&M Capstan Head Black - it will allow you to tighten the extension arm even more, especially when you are going to attach a heavier mic like Podmic to it with the arm almost fully extended.
2. 1x K&M Tube Kombination f 260 + 260/1 - if you would like to keep the stand on the floor right beside your computer desk.
3. A few K&M Cable Holders - 15mm - for neater cable management!
4. Optional: 1x K&M 20005-300.55 - for standing-up sessions. Used instead of the No.2 item.
Very happy with it!
K&M
I'm glad that I choose this stand for my condenser mic wich is quite heavy and my personal need was to have a low stand. So everything works perfect.
this is one of the best microfone stands i've had. It's sturdy (the base is quite heavy) and the arm is not flimsy.
IÂ got ya
If you have space around your drum kit, the this mic stand says: i got ya. It will hold any mic you place on it. The height is suitable for e the snare drum and floor toms. For micing hi-hats and rack toms you will need more height. Adding these rods K&M 7-232-000155 or K&M 20002 fits perfect according to what i have tested.
Awesome Little Stand!
This small stand is probably the greatest small microphone stand. I needed a short stand for a rather heavy set of two ribbon Mics arranged as Blumlein pair. I was in doubt if the base would be heavy enough to provide a suitable counterweight, but it worked as a charm! The base is really heavy and the stand is perfectly stable.
Built like a tank. Weighs like a tank
It's as solid as it gets. I can't imagine any mic being large enough to tip it over. All parts seem quality made, but the problem is, this stability comes at the cost of weight, so if you have to transport it, it adds a lot of weight to all of your equipment. Other than that, it's great.
Top quality K&M Stand
This K&M microphone stand is as good as they get! The K&M construction quality is second to none and is very good. The base is very weighty and will not tip over with a pro bass drum microphone (something cheaper stands do!). The adjustment on the stand is also very good and means that it can be angled to get into a bass drum easily. You can also use this to mic up guitar maps as it also has a good reach. Overall, a top quality stand!
Well built, stable and sturdy.
Well built, stable and sturdy.
The base is cast iron, heavy and wide enough to ensure stability. The bottom is padded with rubber to filter any impact vibration; on a second note this also makes it anti-slip and keeps the floor safe from scratches.
We can start talking about a professional microphone stand.
I have used this stand only in studio but it seems like it would do well on any stage or other environment.
Five stars overall.
Well made stand
I prefer these cast base stands for guitar cabs because they have a smaller footprint on stage, though they obviously don't pack so well when on the move. Base is very heavy and has a soft rubber ring on the bottom which really helps to deaden noise from feet walking on the stage.
Excellent stand for miking bass drums
I use this to record my bass drum and it does its job perfectly. It stays in place and is quite heavy so it won't move easily. I am sure it would also be ideal for recording guitar cabinets.

good solid stand - you get what you pay for here. Others are flimsy and hard to keep adjusted. If you want your mic to be steady & stable, get this. You won't be sorry.
