It's all about the Base!

I needed some stands that had a small footprint but were really stable. I know I shouldn't get too excited about a simple stand but I love these! They take up hardly any space at all and are so heavy on the base that they don't budge. And because the base comes off actually when we needed to take them down the road once we could. Very straight forward. Great value.

Mic stand

I have a few items by K&M and once again Im not disappointed. Very sturdy and takes up a lot less space in tight corners.

Stable, low footprint stand

Stand bought for both studio and live use, primarily to reduce footprint. The quality is good and the stand is very stable. Adjustment points are solid and easy to use which allows for complete dismantling for transport, with a low impact on setup time.

Awesome dudes

The stand arrived after about a week and took me about 5mins to make. I was really surprised by the robust quality and how heavy the base was. For the price I'm glad and will probably have this stand till I'm dead, which will hopefully be a long time.

Perfect!

I use this whilst drumming.

The small footprint helps this stand to sit right up close to my hi-hat.

The boom-arm reaches me just fine, & stability is great.

Much better than 3 legged stands.

Just love this stand.

I use 2 of them, and i'm very happy with stability, construction and

K&M, very reliable as always. Very solid and you don't have to tighten much the bolts

Stable and Quality

When buying my home studio set up I thought to cut a little cost by getting a cheaper mic stand, this turned out to be a gigantic error. The mic stand I got was very unstable and you could hear the shaking on the recordings. So I turned to this mic stand and it is absolutely perfect!! We also are using a cupboard as a vocal booth (it works like a charm) and the round base fits in nicely. It is not so tall but it is tall enough. Sturdy metal and the base feels very good, it does not wobble at all. A great great mic stand. Only minus would be that it is very heavy so we will use only for studio - not particularly transportable with all the other gear. But this is only a minor minus.

Sturdy and space-saving

You cannot go wrong with K&M. Although this stand has a plastic hand knob, not an iron t-bar (which is much easier to lock really tight), it still feels solid. When there's not much space in your studio and you don't want to juggle with your stuff to rearrange the room for a particular recording, this stand is a perfect solution: unlike a tripod, it is so compact, you won't notice it until you need it.

So to sum up it is ideal for studio/home use. Built for years and years (if used with care).

This is the one you saw big people use, not the cheap plastic ones!

This is what you are after if you are reading this, this is that heavy stand that you can kick around stage and rehearsal rooms and do your Axl Rose, Steven Tyler things. But guitarist singers who use pedalboards are the ones who need to think about the circle vs legs but if you don`t have to worry about that sort of things this is a very nice stand that lasts and never fails. I also got some additional arms for mic, depending on the suroundings.

Well built, stable and sturdy.

Well built, stable and sturdy.

The base is cast iron, heavy and wide enough to ensure stability. The bottom is padded with rubber to filter any impact vibration; on a second note this also makes it anti-slip and keeps the floor safe from scratches.

We can start talking about a professional microphone stand.

I have used this stand only in studio but it seems like it would do well on any stage or other environment.

Five stars overall.

Nice micstand and cost-effective !

This boom stand is very good. You get a great value for the price and in comparison to its stability its price is OK either. Basically its the König & Meyer 210/9, just with a round base.

Its base is very heavy. This makes the whole micstand very stable and useable for heavy microphones and accessory such as iPad holder and so on. I use this stand for my Keyboard Rig with almost the full height. It stands directly in front of me and I have got an iPad Holder as well. So, although I use it high, with a standard microphone and an iPad Holder it is very stable. You don't have to be scared about the stability of this boom stand.

So all in all I am very happy with this stand and like using it for my Keyboard rig, although its not that cheap.

Solid and nice

Very heavy, very solid. Brilliant. Can't believe I scrimped on microphone stands previously, seems a bit silly given the relatively small price difference. Practically impossible to knock over and I suspect very hard to break too.

Classy

Got tired of the idea of being hit in the face by dancers close to the stage, this stand will stay in place and has to be the most professional mic stand I've had in my life time

Solid design

If you are looking for something you can trust your microphones with, this is the stand for you. The base is pretty heavy and won't move also it's one block there's less risk for you to stumble on it. top class
