Should be able to Raise & Lower without tightening knob

I used to have a stand like this as a teenager and you could tighten the main boom piece and still turn it up or down without having to loosen & tighten it. It's very uncool to have to do this with one hand if you have an instrument in the other hand.

Otherwise solid unit.

Very light

Definately for personal use for your own mic.

First thing that broke was the knob that tightens the boom. Got it back from a smaller rent and i think the client just turned it a lil too much. The knob is still turning, but the plastic had a crack in it.

Secondly it bent really easy. It was in a bag, that got things put onto it. After a few times i did notice the boom to be bent a little. Nothing much, but definately something you notice.

Good sturdy solid quality

A nice solid sturdy mic stand for a very reasonable price. I have been using one for 8 years or so and it didn't lose its sturdyness or stability at all.

Work for me

I only needed a couple for my small home studio. They work really good. I like K&M.

Surprising quality

Works well, very minimal amount of plastic. VERY usable, user friendly and it handles being taken apart and put back together every day very well.

I thought a mic stand at this price would be the type you cant really take apart and put back together too often...

But I was wrong!

Fantastic mic stand. works great!

Good stand, easy to assemble, cant take heavy equipment

This stand is solid, and easy to put together. It would work well with most mics, but beware using this with heavy microphones. I am using this with my t.bone SC1100 and it falls under the weight of the microphone

Expensive for what it is

It is a great microphone stand but not exceptional. Slightly expensive for what it is in my opinion but you can never go wrong with a K&M stand

No adapter for mic

Selling an item without an adapter is a fail for me.

Cheap n cheerful - but they do the job nicely

Decent stand that does the job. If you pack down your venue a lot (or deal with more animated bands) I might suggest a more robust option, but these are serving us well.

We have been using a few of these in our theatre for about 12 months and they are starting to show some signs of age due to constant packing away. For the price, these do the job well.

Won't last forever, but still a very good stand

This basic stand works well. It is stable and good quality. Don't hesitate to purchase... as you won't be disappointed.
