Sturdy to the bone

This is one really good stand.

Could be a bit cheaper...

It's really sturdy, I've had two of these stands for a couple years now. It will do the job for many many many gigs to come

Strong and stable

I got this to replace a cheaper mic stand that kept bending under the weight of my condenser mic in its cradle. I only use it for this mic and mostly keep it set up.

Pros: It has a great weighting, the mechanisms are all brilliant quality and strong enough to bear the weight of a heavy mic.

Cons: If you were to be taking it round places just for an SM58 or such like you'd probably be better with model 27105 (which I have for that purpose), as it is lighter, but still well made.

Love the quality of K&M products, had this one for over a year and it will last for a long time!

Very durable and heavy duty

One of the best mic stands I have ever used. The price is not the best but when you buy something good you have to pay for it. Very durable, heavy duty and great quality of materials.

First Class Quality

Using for voice over work. Reliable and stable mic stand. One can feel the quality when handling it. Like any stand one has to be careful of correct positioning to ensure it doesn't fall over.

I needed a stable mic stand and that is what you get when you purchase this product. Quality throughout. Cable clips come in handy on it.

K&M 27105 review

I bought it for my Shure SM-58 to record at home. I keep the stand extended all the way up to the right of my table and then the boom goes down to my head height as I sit. Pros: It's very sturdy, it feels very stable and it's definitely worth for the money. Cons: I don't find any real ones, but there is one plastic detail on it, at so much metal it wouldn't have hurt to make that one from metal as well.

Great value for money

I bought this stand for use in my home studio and for the price, it's a great buy!

I use it mainly for supporting a large diaghram condenser microphone which it does very well at any height.

I'm happy with the stability of the stand for what I use it for but it may not fair too well in live environments where it could be thrown around a lot. If you are looking for a mic stand for gigging, I'd probably recommend looking into getting something a bit more durable.

For home studio use though, this stand is great. Very good value for money!

Great Stand

K&M make serious quality stands. I only bought this as a replacement for my other that I lost. They are built to withstand every bump and knock imaginable. Mine has been stood on and had gear dropped on it, and it still looks and feels like new.

Solid but in budget one!

The stand is very solid, does the good job as K&M normally be. The plastic base is not a problem, it reduces the weight too. A recommended budget one!!

Solid basic boom stand

A good solid stand, which is all you need. I've had a couple of these for a few years and they've taken constant gigging and theatre shows without too much wear and tear on the adjustments. K&M are consistent with their quality.

Very good for the price. But keep in mind: you need to clean out the rubber parts under the boom arm to regain the stability of it after long periods of time.

For this price you can't get better!!!

This is my first investment in microphone stands and I am satisfied. Very easy to use and looks quite quality stands made in Germany. You got 5 years warranty and you can quickly assemble stand. Of course if you look some details they can be much more quality made, but if you look price of product and item you got. It's such fine deal. This stands can be used professional without problems and I think stands will not dissapoint you.

Best bang for buck

These stands are really well made and sturdy unlike other stands in this price bracket. I've used it with the T Bone RB100 which is a substantial microphone and it has no problems handling this. Obviously if you extend the boom to full and don't align the legs properly (i.e. in line with boom) and use a really heavy mic the stand will fall over, but this is more due to incorrect set up. These stands are incredible value for money.

K&M 27105

Product quality meets the price. You might want to stand to be supplied with the case.

Superb quality everyday mic stands

I have 6 of these stands and they have served me well for a number of years now. They are my every day live sound mic stand of choice. They just work and keep on working. Over many years not one stand has failed me.

With the boom attached like any mic stand they are a little unwieldy in transport - but its not a problem to get a mic stand bag for them.

The boom is good and solid - they really suit live performance really well and the cable clips are nice.
