K&M 271/15 Reviews
I don't know if I got the right mic stand
The stand i receive looks kinda like this one in the picture, but it arrived in just a simple plastic bag, with no documentation whatsoever. There no brand on a stand itself and i am not even sure if it's really K&M.
Despite that, it looks solid and ready to do it's function.
EDIT: I ran it over with my car accidentally. Not a scratch. A really solid piece of equipment.
Good cheap mic stand - this is much better than the cheapest on this site
Good for any purposes
This Stand is very useful for any purpose , the various knobs let you pick angles that really can save you in a studio/live setting .
I just wish they were a little more resistant to use because mine is a little worn down and it has issues staying straight without falling from the Microphone weight.
Better than cheaper ones
A while ago bought some stand, that had problems holding a basic microphone and also did'nt have bad quality. Pretty much it was bad at the only thing it was supposed to do.
With this, there ar no quality problems, holds microphones well, also can go high enough. Good purchase. I'm happy with it.
Highly Recommend
Use mostly on stage or in the rehearsal room, its very durable and sturdy, especially around the boom joint. Excellent quality for the price and would highly recommend to any band or musician!
Best Buy!
Good mic stand... K&M quality, easy to use, durable... Price is more than ok for this product! Best Buy for my opinion... Recommend!!!
K&M Stand
I have been using K&M stands in my studio for years and needs to replace a few stands which had got broken. These were my first choice, they are well build with everything you would expect from a K&M stand. Sturdy and able to handle any mic i have out on them. Probably not recommended to use fully extended with a heavy mic for example on drum over heads.
The only negative point i have is the rotating mechanism is a bit gimmicky, as it controls both the extensions and the angle of the boom, makes it a bit awkward to position mic in exact locations as loosening it cause both angle and extension to change. Overall a decent stand for the price!
Excellent stands.
These are great stands for the price, so much better than similar stands that just fall over.
Quality is good, as expected. I have yet to break one. They hold up well and do not sag when heavy mics used.
Great stand for the cost!
Sure it's not THE sturdiest mic stand in the world, but considering the pricetag it's a fantastic product. I've been using these for almost a year now and I've had no problems with them collapsing or anything like that. Just make sure to tigthen them properly and you're all set. Nice reach and utility.
Change your cheap stands to K&M
This one is very sturdy and versatile microphone stand. I use it all the time, starting from using it in rehearsals til hooking up my SE Reflexion filter with condenser microphone.
It is very well weighted and has great stability, had no problems using it, compared to cheap or chinese stands which tend to break or fall down with your precious microphone in it.
Price is very affordable, you just can't go wrong, get one of these!
K&M 271/15
Nice, sturdy little mic stands ideal for guitar and bass amp cabs or combos. Once tightened, they stay in place securely and fold down to enable easy transportation. Highly recommended.
solid stand
Solid stable mic stand. Use this for gigging regularly with no issues so far. Fixed boom brings some restrictions but this stand is well worth the money. Easy to assemble quickly and adjust which is,essential in a live setting and importantly, it's very stable. Well made which is what you'd expect from K&M products.Definitely recommend if you want a durable mic stand that doesn't break the bank
Very good value mic stands
I bought these to use in rehearsal rooms and take them out to live shows. Rock and roll can be a rough game but the K&M brand gave me some reassurance. After eight months of use all the 271/15 stands are still going strong with absolutely no issues. There is no extendable boom on these stands so I don't use them for recording but for rehearsal they are perfect and at this price I thoroughly recommend them, well made and fit for purpose.
Great Value
A well-made sturdy stand that is nice and light to carry.
A good balance of quality and price
This product seems to me the minimum for serious studio use, with a great price and durability. It has a real metallic feel, not cheap plastic. I use a couple of them for years and I can say, that they work and last. Simple.
Great Value
Great value for an every day king of stand. Perfect for studio and on stage, they do show some wear after a while and adjusters can sometimes get broken but by and large they are spot on and will go for miles.
Sturdy Mic Stand
This stand is a delight to use. It seems very strong and sturdy yet it's very easy to adjust to the exact configuration you require. It can reach up to way over head height if required. Overall good value for money.
Well built
Im using this microphone stand for recording, it a very stable stand, and well built, this stand is even strong enough for touring musicians, when they are throwing their microphone stands into the back of a van in the early hours of the morning. they should have no worries with this stand.
Great for money
I bought six of these and these inexpensive microphone stands are very good friends of mine on a stage.
It's easy to handle with single screw to tighten or loose the boom pole in pan and tilt positions.
It's lightweight at less than 3 kg, but feels sturdy. Feet are long enough to support even my heavier microphones (AKG C3000 + pop filter) with boom fully extended.
My only concern is that the black coating might get scratched if not taken care while transporting. Not really a flaw but rather something to have in mind.
Good buy, no regrets.
