K&M 271/15 5-stars Reviews
Great mic stand, worth more than the price, though donât overload it
I decided to buy two of these, originally for OH mics - but ended up using one for my vocal mic and the other for my reflection filter. Iâm so glad I had two for this! The stands are great, but not quite strong enough to take the weight of both the mic and the filter. But Iâm very happy that I bought the two of these and that theyâre doing this job.
Pretty good actually!
There are a lot of stands with a lot of different prices. I was searching for a decent one with a decent quality. That is what I got! This stand works great, it seems pretty good quality as well!
K&M, worth the price
K & M is a little bit more expensive, but I feel it's worth it because it is very reliable equipment that is a pleasure to use, because it lasts and works as intended!
Great for the price
The quality is exellent, the tripod at the bottom very versatile, stabile and light, it feels super robust. I'm overall vey happy about this item.
Very good
I have a shure sm7b mic so I needed a mic stand. After research I decided to buy this one. I a very good quality stand and just perfect for my mic. I have to fin the right position as the microphone is quite heavy compared to others so the mic will not stay in the place for so long. After trying different position I find a balance so my microphone stays in the same place for hours. With for instance a Shure sm57 works incredible and does not move a millimetre. I will recommend it.
great value
I own several of these now, for my own use and for hire out, given five stars for their comparative value, they are sturdy , strong and reliable, I haven't had any threads sheer or anything break, yes the paint has worn on several but that is to be expected considering the amount of use, the upright adjustment is secure and remains so during use and the boom is reliable and simple and remains stable fully extended with an overhead mic (heavier mics coud be a slight problem), the tri leg span is wide enough but not so to 'get in the way' for vocalists, i only have one that is now a bit wonky due to a large singer repeatedly standing on one of the legs !! you DO NOT need to stand on the leg to reach the mic !! they are the cheaper end of K&M range but great value for money and a very useful, very good all purpose mic stand
Sturdy, very sturdy
I'm glad i did not go for the cheapest mic stand and instead add extra money to get this. It holds my AT2020 at any position, i tested it limits once and it holds. You wont be dissapointed with this.
High quality.
High quality and easy to adjust.
A good one
- it makes what it should for years with no problems
- use it at home mostly
My Favourite Mic Stand
Have used this for just 3 years now and it's only begun to give me a slight bother.
Up until now, however, I've been very pleased. It's nice to be able to adjust the boom length and angle using the same knob. Recently, however, the joint where the boom meets the upright has begun to loosen and sag slightly under the weight of the mic. I'll likely replace this with the same stand again. Good value for money.
Solid stand in a low price, no brainer
Maybe the best combination in price and quality. I have tried a lot of cheap microphone stands but this one is the best so far. Very easy and quick when you change the possition of the microphone, feels well built! It can also go pretty high lossing a bit of stability but that?s normal.
Recommended? Of course.
Best for the price
I use this mainly in my home studio and it's very stable and I think you can't find a better one for that price.
Good cheap mic stand - this is much better than the cheapest on this site
Good for any purposes
This Stand is very useful for any purpose , the various knobs let you pick angles that really can save you in a studio/live setting .
I just wish they were a little more resistant to use because mine is a little worn down and it has issues staying straight without falling from the Microphone weight.
Better than cheaper ones
A while ago bought some stand, that had problems holding a basic microphone and also did'nt have bad quality. Pretty much it was bad at the only thing it was supposed to do.
With this, there ar no quality problems, holds microphones well, also can go high enough. Good purchase. I'm happy with it.
Highly Recommend
Use mostly on stage or in the rehearsal room, its very durable and sturdy, especially around the boom joint. Excellent quality for the price and would highly recommend to any band or musician!
Excellent stands.
These are great stands for the price, so much better than similar stands that just fall over.
Quality is good, as expected. I have yet to break one. They hold up well and do not sag when heavy mics used.
K&M 271/15
Nice, sturdy little mic stands ideal for guitar and bass amp cabs or combos. Once tightened, they stay in place securely and fold down to enable easy transportation. Highly recommended.
Very good value mic stands
I bought these to use in rehearsal rooms and take them out to live shows. Rock and roll can be a rough game but the K&M brand gave me some reassurance. After eight months of use all the 271/15 stands are still going strong with absolutely no issues. There is no extendable boom on these stands so I don't use them for recording but for rehearsal they are perfect and at this price I thoroughly recommend them, well made and fit for purpose.
