Klark Teknik 3rd Dimension BBD-320 Reviews
Great unit for mixing
I love my Dimension BBD 320. I use it for mixing as a send effect and give some instruments a bit of character, depth and width. I would love for it to have a volume control at the output, but I don't really have issues with it as I set its gain in my console or in the box directly. Highly recommended for its price!
Great device, unfortunately too noisy
Bought the BBD-320 for bass guitar. Unfortunately the unit turned out to be quite noisy. Later I discovered several discusions online about buyers who had the same experience. Perhaps Klark Teknik will manage to design a new circuit for a new more silent MKII model.
Subtle stereo image widener
The effect is quite subtle. It doesn't work very well on guitars, drums or vocals. But really shines on synths. Creates a cool analog feel!
Good
Not as Roland sound but acceptable for price. I am very satisfied
Analog sound for a nice price
If you are looking for an exaggerated chorus sound, this unit is not going to cut it. the sound is subtle. I think the perfect use for it is to add analog stereo width or doubling to your signal, which this unit can do perfectly!
Great sound for reasonable price
Sounds as good as my (accurate) DC-2 clone, but way more headroom. Using it all the time on keyboards. Can recommend the synthbuilder mod from gearspace to make it sound even more authentic
This is the best thing you can do to your DX7
This unit is the best thing that can happen to your Yamaha DX7. It adds a warmth and width like nothing else I've tried. It's a perfect match for DX7/DX7II. I use it all the time. It's also great for a lot of other synths, as well as adding a nice subtle width to vocals.
Unbeatable for the price!!
OK, the original Roland Dimension D might sound a bit more subtile and lush, but this KT version is absolutely incredible for its price!! I'm glad I bought one.
Subtle but gorgeous
As others have said, this chorus is somewhat subtle but top quality and adds a delicious stereo width to mono synths. I bought to widen a Deckard's Dream and it sounds lovely.
Great unIt
Works as expected and sounds great
Pesee plugarit mennen tullen
Voin suositella tätä niille jotka etsivät hyvää analogista stereo (in & out) chorusta työkalupakkiinsa.
Nails the DIM D
Sounds terrific on everything put through it, backing vocals, soft synths, analogue synths, guitars etc. Absolute bargain and worth evert cent.
Great quality, amazing price
Simple but superb bit of kit at an incredible price, cheaper than the UAD version and built like a tank
Excellent Chorus Which Adds Instant Width To Your Sound
Mainly using this unit for synths - and it handles the hotter input excellently. The effect is very subtle on all settings, but there is an instant stereo width added to the sound the moment you depress one of the buttons. It's also possible to depress multiple buttons at the same time, which gives you even more variations in sound - although they are all still rather subtle, whatever the combination. Highly recommended.
Well worth the wait !
Excellent unit... sound crystal and subtle... WOW... definitely worth the wait on these being available... as I could not afford one of the orignal units on which this is designed.
something beautiful
Really nice warm choir sound, something nice happened with the space... I use this unit in stereo mode with Rhodes piano in my studio and on the stage. This unit is really a faithful clone of the Roland Dimension-D. I recommend.
