Perfect for boosting microphones

I have this always on the vocal microphone, it gives the desired boost to the signal level which can then be adjusted at will, instead of requiring unnecessary gain boosting on the interface. Compact, robust and affordable.

Outstanding value for money

Clean and quiet in operation. Built like a tank. Much cheaper than a Cloudlifter and does the same job.

Great booster for the price.

Bought it in 2020 and to this day it serves amazingly well to lift any demanding dynamic mic. It has enough headroom. Love it!

Built like a rock, never misses a beat.

Bought to use with a SM7B, works like a charm. Has never missed a beat. I haven't heard much of a change to the character to the mic, which is nice!

Problem solver

I purchased the Klark Teknik CM-1 recently after checking out a number of the competitors offerings and all I can say is wow, built like a tank and offering up a further 25db of clean gain from your phantom powered pre-amp or sound card. It's a no brainer, yes there are many other devices like this available on the market, but none at this price point and build. Anyone using dynamic mics will find this device a god send (lots of clean gain from your dynamic or ribbon mics) simple straight forward does what it says on the box stuff. It just does what its meant to do. It's application for for live use shouldn't be overlooked
