Best buy ever

I travel a lot for work, and this was bought as an on the road companion. We’ve been across the Atlantic a couple of times, and made music virtually anywhere you can think of. Fits in my backpack, works on USB 5V. Awesome!!

Fine, nothing special but a handy portable tool.

Mod joystick lacks durability and feels like the cheapest of plastics but for the price and what it's designed for, it works just fine.

Just what I needed

Exactly what I, personally, needed.

If youre a proffessional keyboard/piano player, it might not be just your thing, but for me, after having a 64 midi controller that I barely touched, this little thing suits me just fine.

keys are soft, the sustain control is very handy, and due to its small size it sits perfect on my desk and obviously very mobile.

it doesnt make any sound by itself so that cant be judged, So all in all, I feel like its the right tool to make me a better keyboard player

Pretty good

The only things missing are another octave and a mod wheel.

Good portable MIDI Keyboard

The Korg MicroKEY25 USB MIDI keyboard is a good "portable" tool due to its small size. It is USB powered and equipped with a joystick for modulation/pitch bend, a key to activate the arpeggiator (which is tempo-synced), a key for sustain, and of course the keys for changing octaves.

The keys are semi-balanced ("Natural Touch") and give a good feeling.

Compatible with Windows, Mac OS X (as well as iPad), I tested it with FL Studio without any problems.

Recommended, especially considering the price.

It's very convenient device

If you looking for a very compact bus powered keyboard with octave shift function, cc64 (sustain pedal) controll button, pitchwheel-modulation joystick and arpeggiator, this keyboard is a must have device. It seems for this price it does not have an alternative.

korg microkey

small, durable and portable. Fits well in most backpacks. Had mine for about 3 years and it's still pristine despite heavy use. Quite dust-proof with the exception of the pitch bend stick that gets dust trapped inside sometimes

Wonderfully small but feature packed!

Fits perfectly into my drawers. 1 key too small to play Whiter Shade of Pale without transposing, though...

Good price

Nice keyboard for homestudio.

It's well made and has good quality.

I like, that it is small and doesn't take much space on desk.

Handy little keyboard

Cool handy little keyboard. I've been using it on my desk in front of my DAW just for a convenient set of keys to be close by. Pitch and mod are combined in one control which might not suit all but for this size keyboard it is just the job.

Gets the job done.

I bought this as a small desktop keyboard for inserting simple synth lines into demo tracks and for that it does the job admirably. Obviously it takes a bit of getting used to as the keys are smaller, but it's surprisingly playable once you adjust. It's class-compliant so you don't need to install anything, just plug in and away you go.

The velocity sensitivity is a bit flaky I find - it does work, but it's tricky to control. The joystick is a novel alternative to the usual wheels - it has a small range of movement which means it's not as easy to use, but, as it can control two parameters at once you can do some cool effects with it that would be difficult to do with two wheels. The arpeggiator is a nice feature too.

The bundled software was a disappointment though. It's all severely stripped down versions basically, and not worth the needlessly complicated online process you have to go through to get it.

Very good keys

Actually, i didnt expect alot from this keyboard. But for money, Korg microKEY 25 offers more than enough. I was surprised at keys. Natural touch mini keys are awesome. Handy keyboard gets a job done, no doubt about it.
