cutest keyboard ever

I use this for traveling because its tiny and light. the velocity is pretty good and the only downside is that there's no sustain pedal input and that you need to use a sustain button instead but still very useable even with this

Plug and Play

For me, I was just sick of recording midi piano and keys parts using my laptop keyboard through logic. I don't do it all that often so I was looking for something affordable that would do the job.

This is simply plug-and-play and does everything I need it to. Touch sensitive velocity. Perfect response time.

I can see for someone who would be writing a bit more advanced pieces than I, that an extra octave would probably be needed but I have yet to find myself wanting or needing it.

Key2 easy playing

What a simple design. So, light and compact and takes up a very small footprint on my desktop. I have owned many keyboards and most of them have gathered dust as they were too big to leave out on my desk top.

I have very meaty fingers and was concerned after reading some negative reviews about the keys. Rest assured, I can play this keyboard very easily. The touch response is very good too. I also, like the pitch controls. I use Spectrasonics Omnisphere exclusively for all my recordings and this is just what I have been looking for. Korg have really done their R&D with the NanoKey2. A winner in my book.

I think a lot of people aren't a fan of the korg nanokey 2 but I love it. Its handling is criticised a lot but I think this is down to the person handling it. It is extremely useful for home recording. It can be used to play any instrument on recording softwares plug-ins. I have used it for logic pro x and it works a charm. Another handy feature is the way you can change the octave or pitch with just one click of a button. Also the 'sustain' button is extremely handy.
