Good, but...

These appear to be well made, very heavy for the size. Impressive first impression. The included yoke is great to position the monitor just at the right angle. They are VERY detailed in the high-mid range... VERY!

However...

- The internal DSP causes a 5.75ms delay (measured). This might be no big deal in most situations, but it was for me when playing an instrument through a DI. You 'feel' something is not right, not in phase... (I'm used to direct analog monitoring).

- When used in close nearfield context, there IS a very low but noticeable idle isss. Not a problem when playing music, though.

- They pack a lot of low end (for their size), and at the same time they are VERY high-mid forward, so in relative, they feel low-mid shy a bit...

4 stars for features: the LF and HF controls are nice to have built-in, but they are very subtle. -1 star because the optional DSP remote for more control is out of price.

3 stars for sound: they did not translate that well for me. All monitors have a learning curve, but I didn't feel these were worth it... To sum up: If you need a very chirurgical / analysing little monitor, these might work for you. Otherwise, if you're into easy and relax listening monitors, get something else.
