La Bella 760FS-S Reviews
Best addition to my bass
Added then into a fender player mustang and the tones are amazing! Very nice fit on the top loaded short scale
Massive sound!
These strings sound AMAZING on my Squier Bronco Bass. Instant vintage rubbery-boxy sound and massive too! I have never played flatwounds before and it is a shock for me :)
High quality old school thump.
Gorgeous looking, smooth as satin, high quality flatwounds with old school warm tone.
I can't say anything bad about these strings.
James Jamerson new something
I mainly got these strings because I am a huge fan of Motown sound and more specifically James Jamerson. I installed these on a Squire Mustang classic series and immediately the bass sound changed to the better.
I know ideally you need a Fender Precision bass to get that Motown sound right with Labella strings, however even on my Squire Mustang they sound great! Awesome smooth feel, buttery sound, I can recommend Labella and will definitely buy them again.

Great feel and sound. Nice tension. Alround good flats
Classic sound, high tension.
These strings have the classic 50s/early 60s sound. More specifically they have the sound of American vintage soul music. They do start out as quite metallic and bright sounding though, and NOT in a nice way. They take quite a while to break in but once they've settled they sound fat and thumpy and last for decades.
They are high tension, VERY stiff and not suitable for anything that requires a bright tone or lots of sustain.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a fat, warm, thumpy Motown/Stax-style sound.
Stay away if you want a modern, crisp sound with lots of sustain. They're classics but not very good allrounders.
