Funny e string

I pass through an expensive fase of trying to find the best tension and sound for each of my bass ( 2 jazz ,1 GL) . I am not going to go in a lot of details other than I liked cobalts flats the most. Snappy when I want and warm when will . The set of those labellas have some weird acoustic properties that I don't really dig and the e strong sounds funny to say at least.

Low tension offers great benefits

Allows easing of the truss rod and this is especially important for vintage instruments. On newer instruments, the soft give of the strings is very easy on the fingers, but with no loss of rich bass tone. Highly recommended!

Love these

Bought a set of these to help with an intonation issue on my Epiphone Embassy Pro and I am very impressed. Not only did they sort my E string issue, they sound amazing. I have used a variety of flat strings and these are up there with the best of them. Sound and feel great. I will be buying a set of these for my next bass.

Sounds great on my P bass

Smooth, fat sound. They play fantastic and are super comfortable.

Perfect!

These strings were bought as a last resort to make a 30 year old precision bass playable again.

The truss rod would just not hold the relief where I wanted it and there was nothing left to adjust.

I now wish I'd just bought these strings years ago.

They sound amazing and the neck has perfect (for me ) relief.

Oh well. Live and learn.

Highly recommended.
