I purchased this amplifier back in 2012 to power two JBL JRX115 and I have not been disappointed with it. The amplifier has been brilliant for powering my speakers with 450W per channel (at 8 Ohm). I have found the sound quality to be suburb and its configuration makes it simple and easy when using. The unit has a sturdy build quality and front handles have made it easy to move, whether in a flight case or not. The unit has the option of the jack or XLR inputs which I find very useful having the choice as I use both. Overall I rate this product very highly, especially considering the price of the product, as its features, built quality and sound output are fantastic.

i was hesitant to buy this due to the low cost but after reading some of the comments on it i brought it and let me say this thing has some major power and i have had it for a thew months now and it is powering 2 12 inch subs on bridge mode and there is still plenty of power left in the amp i did some tests and at 8 ohms stereo i got it to do 1200w just before clipping and that is well over the ratings they provide at 8 ohms so i guess it will do rated power at 4 ohms no problems there is some negatives i can think off and they are is that this amp is heavy but for the price it isn't a problem , the next one being is that the 120v or 240v swich is on the bottom so it can easily get swiched from the power you are using then causing it to blow up, my last negative i see is that the rubber...

Crown XLi 800

Crown XLi 800

I was looking for an amp within my budget to power a used pair of ProAc Studio 100s. While the Crown amp may not have the creamiest of detail that so many ProAc owners recommend for their passive speakers, it does a great job of powering my ProAcs anyway. Clear highs, powerful lows and detailed mids. Though fan-cooled, the Crown XLi800 is quiet enough for studio use (including mixing). I have mine set up approximately 120 cm from my mixing sweet-spot, behind and under my desk - and the fan noise never bothers me once I have material running. Even with nothing playing, the fan noise is like a gentle murmur, rather than a displeasing whine. The addition of discrete gain pots for each channel is also very useful in my compact (and slightly asymmetrical) space - allowing me to balance the...

QSC GX 3

I've used higher end and much more expensive QSC models in the past and had until now tended to use Yamaha P3500/5000 & 7000 for low cost jobs. The first GX model I purchased was a GX5 on a bit of a punt as I've known some very good high end manufacturers really miss the mark producing entry level products. But it did not disappoint, so much so I bought two of these GX3s shortly afterwards to replace some Behringer power amps. Hands down these beat the nearest equivalent Behringer models by a mile and are even slightly better than the Yamaha P series. The sound is very open and clean with very good stereo image for a PA amplifier. In a multi speaker set up with 2xGX3 1xGX5 driving two mains, two fills and two subs I didn't have any problems setting up and noticed no phase issues...

I'm thoroughly satisfied with my PX10! Being comfortable at 2ohms, it runs 6, 8ohm monitor wedges for my live band rig without breaking a sweat (3 each side). For smaller gigs and acoustic sessions, it goes to FOH, I run a pair of EV ZX3 speaker with it and the quality is tangible. I made a good choice, didn't I! It replaced a Peavey PV1500 amp that I'd had for some time, that didn't do either job particularly well - it would only cope with 4 wedges and wasn't enough to drive the ZX3s effectively, so I was limited to the old SX series boxes!

i will use my new Crown xli 2500 amp, in the rehearsal room of my new studio. It is about 32m2 , height 3,30m and the speakers i'm going to use are Work 250/500 (Rms/peak) and Behringer eurolive B215xl 250/1000 (Rms/peak). So i will operate it at 4 Ohms with a pair of speakers per channel. I did my first trial today, this speakers/amplifier combo worked perfectly and met my expectations. The amplifier worked quietly for about an hour, at normal temperature, without any signs of heat. For this first testing i used the music from my smartphone connected via RCA. I will come back with more feedback when i will test it with mics and vocals etc. It is a wonderful piece of equipment, it came securely packaged fully protected without a scratch. I m fully satisfied.

I installed one of these into a venue and thus far it seems to have been fine / reliable. The build quality is OK, It would need a good case if it were being toured as it's not the sturdiest amp on the planet, but it's fine. The DSP is easy to use and seems to work well, gave me the filters I needed and it seems to sound pretty good for a budget amp. All in all, a decent little amp for the money and it seems to be holding up well running a pair of small Turbosound boxes for speech / light playback duties without any issues whatsoever.

I decided to get a really top quality power amplifier for use with my bass guitar and also as an occasional monitor amplifier. For the latter purpose I bought some really cheap "sacrificial" speakers as in my experience the speakers get bashed up quite easily however if you care for an amp it can last forever. As it turns out I have almost exclusively used this amplifier for powering monitors over the last few years and occasionally for FOH use although it is slightly underpowered for this. I have no complaints about this amp at all. I use it every week and have never had a problem. Once or twice I have run it in bridged mode (accessed through some dip switches on the back) however most of the time I run in stereo. The sound is always clear and the unit is reliable - precisely...

Crown XLS 1002

Crown XLS 1002

I bought this to use as a poweramp for my bass rig. I use a Sansamp RBI preamp into the XLS 1002 which when bridged gives 1100W into 4 ohms (more than I'll ever need). The selecatble dual sensitivity input is a superb inclusion and improvement over predecessors. It allows lower power input sources and preamps to be connected etc. The overall sound is clean, transparent, powerful and replicates the output of my bass and preamp without colouration. The built-in crossover is brilliant and very easy for a technophobe like me to program the output frequency range. Choose from high pass, low pass, or select a bandwidth. The unit is well built, looks superb in my rack unit (the blue LEDs match my Korg rack tuner!). While this model is perfect for my needs, it is relatively low powered for PA...

I got this amp a three years ago for use in a rehearsal room. It gets a lot of use! Probably 4 hours a day almost every day, so its got a bit of mileage on it! We initially got it because one of our powered desks wasn't packing enough punch, but this bad boy has all the power a band could need in a medium sized rehearsal room, and it never gets turned up past half way. Its never once let us down. It has been dragged out gigging a few times and is fairly robust and sturdy although the knobs do seem to come off easy if knocked. Its a basic enough amp with just an on switch and a left and right output level...but sometimes that's all you need.
