LD Systems HPA 1
In Ear Headphones Amplifier

In ear amp
Great little in ear amp, stereo options and bulletproof construction, apart from the clip on one unit I have which failed. It was a very minor issue that I resolved myself with a needle nose pliers. Other than that I would whole heartedly recommend for a wired iem solution
LD Systems HPA1
A really great personal wired headphone amp solution for wired IEM whether live on stage or in the studio.
Great
Practical and excellent quality, I am very happy with this.
Does what it supposed to do.

Excellent!
The build quality is impressive, its lovely and compact and when I'm sitting behind my drums its practically unnoticeable when attached to my belt. Particularly like having stereo inputs as it means for example i can run my click and backing tracks through one side and the rest of the band through the other and balance between them myself, its nice to have that control. The battery life is good, I generally get 1-2 gigs out of a 9v battery which is adequate. Would definitely recommend to someone looking to build an affordable IEM system on a budget!
very light and relatively compact, with a lot of features ... it deserves it's price
Great value
Great value for money, if it had an EQ it would be the best unit on the market. Sound quality is amazing.
Sounds great
We have four of these in our current band setup and overall they are great. Nice quality sound and good option to run via battery or power.
For me it is great to be able to give the musicians control over the overall volume levels, they work well with all headphones and also do stero mixes well.
Only downside I have come across is that the clip bends easily so if the musicians are a bit careless you could end up with a loose clip, after this it can be hard or uncomfortable to clip onto your belt.
Perfect for drummers or silent rehearsal for bassists/keys
This is a great bit of kit in the respect of build quality, battery life, features etc
Having being a bit more expensive than other similar products didn't phase me, but you get what you pay for in the respect of build quality - the plastic has an almost velvety quality to it.
Being able blend between 2 audio sources in stereo mode is great!!!
It's downfall purely depends on your planned use for it. I used it primarily for onstage monitoring with a bass/track feed in L/R respectively. Having XLR cables dangling from my belt was inconvenient and definitely restricted movement onstage, therefore I have upgraded to a wireless system (also LD systems). However, I still use this for silent rehearsal. Plugging a jack to male XLR cable from my active bass, and an aux cable from my laptop allows me to practise at home without firing up my bass rig, or even my smaller practise amp.
A monitoring system for drumming gigs is also great with the HPA1 due to not having to move.
If you need it for one of these applications, I'd highly recommend it.
