Suboptimal curve but great overall

I wish the curve was customizable but otherwhise it works great

Decent

The pedal is surprisingly good for the price. It does not have a "uniform" control over volume, i.e. much of the volume change occurs when the pedal is almost fully down.

Swell!

This volume pedal works well. It is a bit light in weight but it functions well as a swell on my pedalboard. Due to its lightness it moves around a bit when I have it on the floor but velcro would sort that out.

Helt okej!

Köpte denna pedal för att styra volymen av min lapsteel.

Själva pedalen känns ganksa stabil men är tyvärr lite svårt att styra med precision. Samtidigt kan man inte förvänta sig några under med tanke på priset.

Noisy in use. I don’t recommend this one

Perfect for the money it costs

Ok, its plastic, its cheap but it does the job perfectly. If you use very often a volume pedal consider buying a more expensive one.

For the rest of us it does the job.

Excellent pedal.

Nice and smooth to press with great contact.

Doet wat hij moet doen.

Stevig gebouwd en kan tegen een stootje. Heeft al menig optreden en gebruik moeten doorstaan. Eenvoudige volumepedaal zonder franjes.

A solid volume pedal with an unbeatable price

I'd read several "reviews" that complained about the pedal's build quality/longevity but I've found no basis to agree with those opinions. I've stomped on this thing and adjusted the volumes with the same gusto as any volume/wah pedal I've ever owned and this thing takes it all in stride, never failing to work as intended.

I've also read people's complaints about the volume pot being "scratchy" but I've had zero experience with this problem on this pedal. Even if this thing exploded into 1000 chunks, the low price means I'd just buy another LFV-1.

kinda scratchy

it was a bit scratchy out of the box, but after some WD40 in the pot(literally 5 minutes of your time), sounds like a million bucks.

The price is good but not the quality

Its cheap abd its totaly plastic. I was expecting a better sound control but it does the job at a very low cost.

Mine broke after a few months, now the minimum volume doesn't get to zero. I am using it as a foot support.

I bought it as my first volume pedal, to do some volume swells and soften the distortion in some passages. It worked nicely in the start and I really liked it, although it altered the sound a bit. Then it broke and I decided to buy a reall and sturdy volume pedal from Morley, and it is much better!

The only positive side was that it was fun while it lasted and with it I discovered that I like volume pedals!

Stirdy volume devil

The pedal still does not make noise after all these years. Its very stirdy. I use it for guitar aswell as a swell pedal for my keybords. It also can work for some guitar processors as an outboard effects pedal. Still no problems with it after all these years.

Amazing value for money

The pedal seems well built and has relatively good precision.

You cannot get a better volume pedal for this amount of money, you'd have to spend 5-10 times more to get one that is noticeably better.

Solid Product

Simple, easy, does what it is meant to.

No noticeable degradation of sound or tone. Action is smooth and comfortable, and generally a joy to use.

The sound you get while using it is exactly as you would hope it to sound. It doesn't sound bad, choppy or artificial in any way.

A cut above the big bad B brand, if you know what I mean.

Works well

Okay, this is quite a cheap and plastic little thing. The inside consists of a single pot controlling the volume, no more no less. Just like the one inside your guitar. Even thought it's built quite cheap, it feels stable when you operate it. The pot started to make some noise for me, probably because I didn't use it for a while. Other than that, a good cheap product that works well. Great alternative if you don't want to spend that much..

Great for the price.

Solid thick plastic constructed pedal with rubberised base and foot pedal. The jacks and gear system inside the pedal are plastic, however the action and throw of the pedal is still quite smooth.

I bought this as a cheap solution for needing a volume pedal for a one off gig, and for the cheap price it served me well, and I have continued to use it for various applications in the past. There is no apparent 'tone loss' in my pedal chain with this volume pedal, and my only criticism would be that the throw of the pedal is not as smooth as on more expensive pedals.

Would recommend for those on a budget, but not for constant use/gigging.

Great volume pedal with one minor flaw

If you are in need of a volume pedal i would recommend something cheap and cheerful like this Lead Foot LFV-1 Volume pedal. It seems to work nicely and does its job quite well apart from one aspect and that is if you want this pedal to go from full volume to non at all you will have to take 2 small rubber feet off the bottom of the actual pedal bit at the back because if you keep it as it is out of the box it will only go from full volume to the equivalent of turning your guitar volume to 1, it is merely a minor complaint and if fixed easily and in all fairness it is quite cheap and gets the job done. The pedal does feel that it could break down the line with it being plastic, the structural integrity could be compared to something like a danelectro pedal as they too are plastic so i would suggest not putting your whole body weight on it as it could break, if you are wanting something to take a bit of a beating i would suggest putting a bit more cash towards a pedal that is comprised of metal.
