Top of the line!

This gonga has excellent sound best wood ,very good skin too, best choise if you want to sound like a pro!

Great drum

This is a great drum, with a fine sound.

The finish on the rim is lousy, and it corroded after only about two years of light use, indoors. This is poor, considering the high price. I contacted Latin Percussion to get a replacement, but they were not interested in helping me. I shudder to think how much it would cost me to order one.

This corrosion does not affect the sound, of course.

Bought Galaxy Quinto, Conga and Tumba

Superb finish - gold hardware - thick skins etc.

Lovely sound - the best and very thick skins so you really have to work them.

I guess that's pro congas for you.

Top of the range

This is an addition to my Galaxy Conga and Tumba. This addition of 11 inch Quinto is versatile. Can play with the Conga for higher tones in a band. Can play all three together for melody. Top family of Congas. Warm deep sounds due to skins and American Ash wood. Hardly feel the engineered hardware when playing. Just skin on skin. Practice/Play is a joy.
