Legendary hard rock sound!

I have been playing the drums for over 30 years and continue to draw inspiration from the drumming of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and others. Ludwig's budget snare sounds very much like that unforgettable classic Hard rock drum sound that continues to inspire me. I really like the powerful, punchy, loud sound of the Ludwig snare drum, but it can also sound quiet. Recommend to all hard rock fans who are on a budget.

AMAZING snare!

This snare is just amazing sounding. Not just because of of the cheap price. It's just as good or even better than several of my much more expensive snares. I've had no issue with the quality do far. Buy it!! ;-)

At first I wanted a Supraphonic but that was quite expensive so i thought about trying a supralite and I am more than satisfied . Even though it's a steel snare , the sound can be warm and sweet like a wooden one if you muffle just a little bit . It's also very powerful , and suits every drumming style from really heavy stuff to brushes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy something special for a good price .

A fairly loud snare,with good crisp and loots of body. Not only good for the money. It´s,at least soundwise,a professional snare that will fit most styles depending on head choise and tuning.
