Lynx Hilo Review

This is a magic box in its own category. Nothing on the market gives you quite what the Hilo offers. The conversion is pristine and reveals the low-end nicely which most converters struggle with. Usability is high up there as well with everything being laid out nicely and clearly, and never more than a few touches away. The touch screen is solid and comfortable to use.

Connectivity is on par as well, with AES/EBU on board as well as other standard connections. The box is solidly built and a pleasure to hold and use.

The way this unit is designed allows it to remain usable far into the future. The changeable interface card and flexible software will prove to be useful in this matter.

This is the dream box for a singer/song writer, or for someone who only needs a couple of channels of high-end conversion and flexible connectivity and monitoring.

I can not find a flaw in this device.
