cheap and reliable

Is the cheapest on the market, but still very reliable. Doesn't weigh too much, and does its job. But if you're looking for a very precise exp pedal, this is not the right one. Currently using it for controlling some parameters of my timeline, and I'm very much satisfied.

Good but not perfect

Pros: reliable, adjustable.

Cons: response is not 100% linear with the moving of the pedal

Nice relatively cheep alternative for other brands. Good for midi expression control. Have polarity switch. Could have input jack socket instead of permanent cable.

Cheap, light and ok quality

Not the best feel when operating the pedal as a volume pedal but for this price its good enough

Good build quality, works as it's supposed to

Used it in a DIY project, worked great, although, wish it was easier to bolt it to a surface, but I guess it wasn't made for that purpose. Other than that, a great product.

Squeaky plastics but does the job well.

For the price it is okay. And this gives you an opportunity to connect multiple expression pedals at low budget. I never tried to put my hole weight on it and I would not advice that, but it will survive some occasional abuse I guess. Had to re-solder jack over 5 year usage.

Pros:

* Switch to change 'modes' actually helped me to get desired curve along with the adjusting wheel, that sets the lower limit.

Cons:

* Plastics, that, I think could brake if abused. (It did not yet though :))

* Straight jack and soldered-in wire. (Angled jack could be one's preference and detachable wire would allow to choose wire length and type.)

Good pedal

This is, for the price range, a good pedal for midi expression. It is plastic, but feels sturdy and is smooth in control. May be less optimal and not sturdy enough for touring and performance in venue, but is a good option for home studio use.

Nice cheap expression pedal

Nice cheap expression pedal. I use it Boss DM-2W without an issue. The only downside is missing 6.3 connector on the pedal, so you can only wait till the original cable is broken, instal the connector to device yourself and start to use regular stereo jack-jack cable.

I don't know how it works with other devices and how much sturdiness it shows on the stage in let's say year or two..

A good and well build budget expression pedal

This is budget well built expression pedal. It is compatible with many devices so that's a mega plus!. The only thing that sets it aside from more expensive pedals is that it's not very expressive.

The action is too loose and it is easily knocked out of position with a glancing blow from your foot. Overall is a good, reliable pedal for the price.

Feels light, but works great.

When this first arrived I thought it felt a bit flimsy, but I've had it a couple of years now and it's still going strong, no issues at all.

The action, is not quite as nice (in my opinion) as the Moog EP-3 pedal, but I'm not quite sure if I can describle how. It might be the weight of the action, or it might be the angle of the base, but that could just be personal preference.

It works absolutely fine, and has lasted the test of time (though I didn't use it very heavily and didn't gig with it).

I'm taking one star off just because of the slightly lighter/cheaper feel, but in terms of function and value, it's bang on.

Works fine, range could be bigger

Great value for the price. I am using it to control my Keith McMillen SoftStep 2 and it works as expected.

I wish the range was a bit bigger. It feels a bit cheap and plasticky (which it is), but the build quality is pretty decent and I'm not afraid to use it for gigs.

Very functional, albeit light

A veyr well functioning expression pedal, has so far sustained several months of use in studio and on tour, not so sturdy and doesn't feel like it'll last forever, but as an upshot it's light and fairly compact, and i am yet to have a single issue with it apart from needing two in some situations

Would recommend for a cheap expression

Cheap and fit for purpose

I use this at home. I cannot comment how would it behave if used more extensively, but for my occasional use is excellent. It is used as an expression pedal for GMajor2 processor and it works perfectly. It?s plastic and it?s not some fancy stuff, but that doesn?t bother me. Comparing to GT6 and GT100 integrated expression pedals, this is softer but I got used to it. I?m not that demanding so it does the job for me. Only if I played more, I might be searching for something that has more resistance on my foot. Translated - I don?t feel this can be used for wah wah. That's why I'm giving it four stars. I?m using it for some volume swells and occasional delay control - for that purpose this product does what it is supposed to and I?m happy with it.

Good for it's price

(before you read anything, please keep in mind that I really tend to work my pedals to their maximum ability, so no, I do not have a soft leg!)

Ok I'll just be as honest as possible here.

For this price, I couldn't find anything better. Now the quality is as low as it can be for a "decent" expression pedal. I play a lot of clavinet in the keys using "wah" and yeah, I broke mine on the third month of intense use. But then again its electronics is super responsive and functional. I just opened it and fixed it into something very robust so now for that price I got something very, very good!

If you're a person that will not try to fix stuff that brake, I do not suggest buying it. But if you don't mind opening it up and doing some DIY work, then I highly suggest it as for this price, functionally it's working like butter on bread.

Cheap, but sturdy, works well

Great cheap expression pedal. It does what it's supposed to do. Added bonus: minimum volume can be dialed in, plus added polarity switch.

It's bigger than the photo's would suggest and feels sturdier than you might think.

Only downside: the TRS cable isn't detachable.

its not supper solid and the build quality is okay. but it does the job, and its cheap.

Don't let the plastic fool you!!

I've had this Expression Pedal for more than 3 years now and it still looks the same, don't let the plastic fool you, it is still a robust pedal.

It works great with any other device that i plug it to, without any problem. It serves its purpose any day.

Works with Eventide H9

What else to say? It works. If you're a heavy stomper, maybe get something that's not made from plastic. Otherwise, it's a solid product.

Good value entry level expression pedal

I got this pedal to replace the omnipresent Behringer FCB1010, a mighty multi-faceted beast but, alas, too much so for my needs. All I needed was a straight-up MIDI expression pedal to control various effects on Native Instruments Guitar Rig and, upon completing my purchase of the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88, I had a compact alternative to the Behringer controller presented to me.

However, that is a point to stress, just in case you're under any illusion that this is some magic MIDI expression pedal - you will need a valid MIDI input device with an EXP port in order to take advantage of this pedal.

This aside, you get what you pay for - a basic interface for your foot and whatever MIDI controller value you choose to assign it to (most mainstream software that supports MIDI input will have a 'learn' facility that will match your MIDI CC to the desired effect).

I mostly use this in the home but I wouldn't expect it to stand up to much punishment whilst out on the road (for which I'd recommend the Behringer controller) - it's basically plastic, rubber and wires, there's not much to it but it gets the job done.
