Good condenser microphone

Nothing to say regarding the sound or the build of the microphone. The only downside is the fact that the pattern can't be changed nor you have a switch for a low pass filter of any kind. Simple plug and play but with a great sound.

Would recommend for a first condenser microphone for recording vocals and guitars.

Super sound, finicky output

The sound reproduction of this mic is outstanding. I just couldn’t dial in the gain in a suitable way. My Marantz doesn’t have that issue, which is why I opted for a return in the end. If it were consistent for me I would have loved to keep it.

Editing this rating from 3 to 4 stars. It’s really a quality microphone. I actually purchased it again because I really like the sound. I don’t like that I have to sing with a pad. I’m somewhat new to this world so maybe it’s weird of me, but I prefer not to have to use a pad when singing. Maybe it’s normal 🤷🏻‍♂️. For that 4 stars but if the gain wasn’t off to me, I’d easily give 5 stars. It’s my go to mic for Smule and I prefer it to my NT1-A because of the reduced upper frequencies. The NT1-A is better for me as a studio mic, it is too sibilant for live recording without a de-esser.

Good Price, Decent Sound

Yeah...really good for this price. macky is such a concrete company in the sound branch.

the sound of it is decent. with some EQ in the high range, it sounds great.

only thing is that I wouldn't use this as a live microphone, for a little bit of more money you'll get an MS-58 or 57 which is.

overall I am happy with this mic
