My favourite bass
I have that bass for more than 3 years. After a few live gigs, recordings and home use I have to say that I love the sound and quality of that bass! So comfortable to play, no tunning issues AT ALL and huge versatility in terms of sound due it's passive/active switch.
More than enough for recordings
To make things clear, this was my first bass guitar ever. Sure, I played bass before, but this was first one i own. For in-home recordings this thing is perfect. You can get any sound you want - from deep, deep bass to something very bright. Main pros: -Build quality is amazing -You have a ton of custom for your sound Main cons: -If i have volume on max, plus active pickup, not even the lowest gain on audio interface can help me with peaking In conclusion, I am very happy with this bass, and can recommend it to everybody
my first bass guitar
amazing bass and quality for the price
Really nice bass
This isn’t a beginner bass. It’s a great bass and can be used for a “pro” players… I like all each part of this bass. Great sound, great quality and I love it.
High-quality bass
The bass is amazing. For a little over 300 eur this is a real bargain. V3 is Sire's budget bass but the build quality is superb. The fretboard is so smooth, frets are perfect. The neck has a satin finish and is a real pleasure to play. There are really minor gaps on the neck and body joint, but it's really just an aesthetic thing.
Sounds that you can get from this bass, especially in active mode are so versatile. Amazing. If you're a slapper, you'd enjoy this.
Strings are D'Addario, 45-100 if I'm not mistaken.
The bass came in set up perfectly, I just tuned it, and was good to go to a studio.
I think this bass beats all squiers easily, and quality- and sound-wise, you'd expect this would cost 600-700 eur. Great value for money.
a very good bass to start, its able to substitute your shinny bass on a gig
A nice bass!
After comparing many basses, I chose this one. It has a beautiful body, a smooth neck and impeccable voice! It’s perfect for beginners. Everything is fine but a little too heavy for me.
A solid instrument
A great instrument in active or passive mode.
More noise than more expensive instruments when using the controls (like the pickup blend for example). In my opinion, a simpler preamp set up would be better here.
Great build quality for the price, although the action was ludicrously high when I received the bass.
