a solid speaker that delivers on expectations

I bought this to use in the living room so I can reclaim my small monitor speakers for the studio. The smaller models were battery operated and I didn't want that. The comparable other options had modelling amp or other features that didn't appeal to me and I really didn't want anything with Alexa. So far I've just been using the aux input so I can't comment on the bluetooth feature.

It's a solid beast, as you'd expect from Marshall. The bass/treble eq gives some good control. The sound is already rather balanced. I did think it would be louder – the only thing that it didn't deliver on expectations – but it gets the job done. Not enough to drive the neighbours crazy, enough to have music while cooking, eating dinner or chilling out.
