best BT speaker for the price

I've had this speaker for almost 3 years now. I've used it consistently in a variety of scenarios. It's reliable, has good battery life, sounds great and is fairly portable for what you get with it, despite being a little heavy. The build is sturdy and doesn't show wear at all except for the leather strap handle which is slightly scuffed after nearly 3 years of use.

The equalizer is a unique feature at this price point (as far as I know) and is not a gimmick. The knobs roll really smoothly and the click when you power on the speaker is quite satisfying.

The only cons I could think of are firstly -the sound is quite bass heavy, but that's easily fixed with the equalizer on top. I set the bass anywhere between 4 and 6 and the treble all the way up to 9-10 and it controls the bass quite well.

You can't charge it with a USB cable of any sort, you can only use the charger that comes with it. That's fine by me but someone might find it annoying, since you have to carry the cable around when you're traveling with it.

Overall great product that stands out from the crowd of JBLs and Sonys with great features and an incredible sound to it. Unbeatable at this pricepoint.

Great portable speaker

Perfect quality sound, big battery and line-in port for 3.5mm jack makes this one a great portable speaker

Would be nice to also have connected device be notified about battery level, also, would be good to have trimmers a bit better quality

But those are minor, overall - this one is a great portable speaker

Nice speaker

The sound of this speaker is very good. It's easy to use and control the volume of high frequency or low frequency like a simple EQ. The texture of this stuff is also good.

Do not let the size deceive you

I primarily use this in my student dormitory as a portable speaker used alongside my laptop to play the guitar.

On the positive end, the Killburn II is a monstrous product. I was blown away by how much better this sounds than many 2.1 desktop speakers out there. It may also work great as a 3rd party mix reference speaker for the recording studio, given the impressive and extended bass response range and a natural frequency curve.

This does not mean the product is perfect, of course. When using the aux input, after the unit goes into sleep mode, it has to be turned off using the volume knob, and then on again. This is inconvenient.

Is this product worth buying? Depends. Does the inconvenience of the aux input bother you? If no, and you're a 100% bluetooth individual, this product is definitely worth buying.

Great home speaker

Easy to use and great sound. It has some weight to it so probably not ideal for outdoor carrying. It's a very good speaker otherwise
