i was a bit sceptical how good a guitar can be at that price range but i was pleasantly suprised, it sounds very clear and chimy but still a bit warm, i would say its focused on the mids, the finish is smooth ans silky, no complaints on the tuning keys either, only thing i should mention its the absense of a cutaway and the fact that the action is a bit high for my liking, but dont get discouraged because the pros are surely more than the cons on that amazing sounding instrument, outstanding VFM!

If you are looking for a budget friendly, great sounding and a well known brand guitar that's the one.It looks great and nice construction quality. It has a warm ,natural sound because of the solid mahogany top and the neck is so comfortable to play nearly to an electric guitar. When you plug in it has a nice preamp and does the job but I always prefer to play without plugin in because of the natural warm sound. Also the case included in the price which is great.Only negative thing up to now(It has been 3 months) I can say ,when you close case latches they are not so smooth. But I really search a lot of dreadnought acoustics and this one is the best at that price range I think... pros&cons +warm rich mahogany sound +easy to play +nice preamp with build in tuner +great looking guitar and...

I feel I should point out that, before I chose this guitar, I ordered a Takamine GD10CE-NS, which I then decided to return. The return was handled well and with 0 complications. You see when I got the Takamine, I was very disappointed. Now the guitar itself was beautiful, truly wonderful to look at. But you know that feeling when you hold a guitar and simply do not know what to play, because the sound does not resonate with you, and you feel very uninspired as a result? That's the feeling I got from the Takamine. My friend did not like it either, and after a discussion, we simply could not pinpoint what is wrong with the sound, and came to an agreement that it simply "lacks soul". I changed the strings and the sound improved, however, it was still not dark enough, not right - a...

This is a review of the Yamaha FG830 NT. Had one these popular Dreadnoughts many years ago and foolishly parted with it. Always missed it. With Yamaha's 2016 release of the 50th year anniversary models, the time was right for me the buy again. The 2016 FG830 has improved the build with Scalloped Bracing and rosewood back and sides. Looks wise, the binding is of a vintage cream colour and the sound hole features abalone inlay. The instrument looks beautiful and is finished to a high standard. Mine was nicely set-up right out of the box. Playability is fantastic. Modern slim neck, satin finish, plays fast and easy. Sound is where the FG830 shines. This is a lot of quality tone for the price. The Dynamic range is very impressive. It has the boomy low end you would expect but its high end is...

Received the guitar quickly, in fact within a couple of hours after ordering it I get a notification it was shipped, wow! It was well packed with no issues , the neck is straight but I'll check it again next day. Being a gloss black I was expecting cosmetic issues like fine scratches, but nothing, bonus. I'm a little OCD, so the black may not of been a wise choice for me, but they look so dam nice LOL. The guitar plays nicely sound great and it's lighter than I thought it would be , its comfortable to hold . Frets are great, running my hand up and down the neck is smooth. For me at least this guitar is an great buy, I've been playing for over 50 years and I have played a lot of different guitars, I don't make a living playing and I've taught if someone wants to learn . So for just...

Very good value for the price tag. Keeps in tune which is a major plus. Extremely light so you won’t be throwing it around. Very easy on the neck as I have had two operations on my shoulder and this is important. Wood is good quality, light but generates a decent tone. Overall, great value for money, might get the cut away model next year with electronics. One down side, there was no strap catch at the base of the neck, just my only point in an otherwise positive experience with my purchase.

Lovely looking guitar with high gloss finish, the action is very low with no buzz and there are no sharp edges to the frets,it arrived double boxed with ample packing and without tension on the strings. For the price this guitar is beautifully crafted .The sound is well balanced, clear and crisp and really comes to life when plugged in, simple and easy to use electronics and a tuner that works well,a flawless gloss finish and a super smooth satin neck finish all contribute to this being a well priced, well made instrument with a good sound and quality feel.

To take up this guitar and feel the comfort of the neck and the balance of the instrument is a treat. It gives the feeling of belonging in your body frame and completes the natural pose of a guitar and frame as one. Its design is a unique piece of eye candy and the a pleasure to sound any chord which is a true and warm sound that just sounds right. The action is quite fast and frets are laid to perfection. The Pick Up with the built in tuner allows the tuning and personal setting effects that any musician can adjust to their own preference. If I had a fault I would prefer to see this G series guitar priced a little lower as it is comparing to better priced higher level guitars. Over all I love the feel and the sound of this instrument and the ease in which it can be bright and warm at the...

I bought this having only seen it online, and was really impressed with the build quality, tone and playability. If I were looking for a weak point, I'd probably say the pick up isn't the best, but it's honestly fine and does the job. The guitar comes with a nice soft case and doesn't seem overly bothered by humidity changes. Treat it well and it should give you pleasure for decades. I've been playing guitar for about 20 years and this is a lovely knockabout to take to gigs or whatever. It plays well and looks great.

I was quite skeptical when I was considering to buy a guitar due to risks of packaging damage but to my surprise evething went smooth like butter. The packaging was solid, no issues whatsoever. For this price, I think this is one of the best guitars you could get. The feeling of the wood, the sound, even the smell of the guitar is mesmerizing enough for me to write my first review of the guitar. Overall it is a killer package, would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice guitar for a budget
