Remove the overtones from your snare

I use this on my main 14" snare drum whenever I want to remove overtones from the snare and also add a very subtle tambourine backbeat sound when recording.

The build of the product is excellent and its doesn't weigh much, so taking it with your snare in its case isn't an issue.

But the only problem you might have, is if you use hoops that are turned inward to the drum, this may cause the backbeat pro to start sliding off your drum as it won't sit snug between the rim of the drum, so make sure you tape it down. On my Sonor SQ1, this isn't a problem, but its an issue on Mapex snare drums.
