Very tasty

These are very tasty indeed. The positive reviews here are pretty unanimous and I cannot disagree!

I probably spent too long agonising over different Meinl hi-hats, and I eventually concluded that these had that something I was looking for. To be honest, any choice I would have made would have been an improvement over what I already had, but I am very glad that I chose these delightfully playable hi-hats.

I love how dynamic these hi-hats can be — soft or loud, crisp or bold and trashy. I love them, I think they are really starting to open up my playing.

My favourite pair of hihats in the world. Would never buy anything else. Not for someone who wants a traditional set of hihats but the closed sound and chick on these sound amazing. Great wash too.

Super-duper hihat.

As I wanted to buy the best fitted hihat for my music (I play electronic stuff), I did not care for the money. But I can say for sure, that this is the best choice for me. The sound is crispy and a bit low pitched (it matches the sound example on the product page). Also, I think, it won't fit for the rock music, because it's not loud enough IMO (tried to play it with a rock band also).

14" meinl byzance dry hi hats

B-e-a-u-tii-fuuuul! These hats have such a dynamic range open they sound so trashy and amazing, slightly open they offer brilliant tone that just makes you want to jam on them forever and finally closed they react well to the pedal which is brilliant for d'n'b music but they also sound so beautiful closed with a defined "chick" =D
