Meinl Byzance Jazz Extra Thin Crash 16"

This cymbal unfortunately has a low resonance beneath the wash. Something to be expected with a heavy rock power cymbal, but not with the lightest jazz cymbal. The 16 inch size seems very prone to this effect and the only way I could escape it was to try a smaller (15 inch) cymbal of similar design. The 17 inch model seems to have the same effect, but the 18 inch is totally free of it.
