Gets the job done well

The practice pad for your foot - it's great to have one since you can take it anywhere. It's very well made, the batter part looks like it can take a lot of "beating" before it'll start to wear out while still having a very nice feel to it. The pad itself is very light which is good but is also connected to the only con I have for it - it has a tendency to "travel" when practicing heel-up without a solid rug under the pad & pedal. I have it on a regular carpet with longer "hair", the surface is not even and the pad can move about 10cm away from me in a minute. I guess using a proper drum rug would help to mitigate this issue, but I still give it only 4 stars because of it. Other than that, it's great and I would buy it again if I'd had to.

Not perfect, yet useful.

I was looking for some ways to practice my foot technique with low volume and as a huge fan of Meinl I thought to give a try to this Bass Pad.

I cannot say that I am completely satisfied but indeed it serves the purpose. However it has on really big disadvantage. If you don't have a rug - don't buy it! Luckily enough I have but when tried to play it on other surfaces in my flat it was sliding away with a first stroke even though I was not playing hard. From other aspects it is quite good product.

So be careful when choosing this one.
