I have used this Marshall amplifier on probably 2-3 month and also taking it out and played live maybe 5 times. There’s not been one gig where I’ve ever been concerned about its reliability. The stock valves have worked extremely well and it is great to see Marshall putting in quality tubes/vales to start with. This saves having to upgrade them because they put in junk right from the get-go. I can foresee myself having this amplifier for quite some time. I’ve purchased and sold so many guitar amplifiers over the years and not have given me such a great sound without any pedals as this particular amplifier has. This thing is huge! If you're looking for a home practice amp this certainly won't be suitable. It's tremendously loud and could be used in many medium to large sized venues. It's super heavy, almost 4 stone! The handles seems sturdy enough but it's too early to tell. At this point though the quality seems good enough to last a good while. The good thing about this amp is the master volume. In previous AC30's the only way to get a good warm distortion was to crank the volume up full meaning to have a nice tone you had to deafen your bandmates - not any more! Now you can crank up the volume for the tone, and control the overall master with the master section. Another cool feature is the spring reverb which is super sweet. There are tons of reviews about this amp and tons of forums telling people to mod this amp straight out of the box. I say DON'T. Don't touch it. There's a reason Vox build this lovely little powerhouse the way they did. Simply put - Engineering. These guys know what they are doing. They use certain components for a reason. They source the proper parts and custom make other part to make sure every thing is perfect. This amp sound totally VOX because of this. The custom VX10 sounds perfect in the mostly closed back cabinet. The Chinese made tube don't suck, like many purists think. They go well with the all circuit board construction. I am an amateur guitarist mostly playing clean and this is my first tube amp. I had two other non-tube amps before. My goal was to purchase an amp that is: (i) with single channel all tube circuitry (i.e. reliable and easy to maintain); (ii) simple to use (i.e. no need to fiddle with a lot of buttons for getting a right clean or slightly overdriven tone); (iii) takes pedals well; (iv) easy to be transported; and (iv) is good for home or bedroom use. I think that the amp satisfies all of the above and the sound of the Ruby 6V6 tube and 12AY7 preamp tube is very inspiring. The 8 inch Weber speaker sounds great and you should not be afraid of the fact that it is only 8 inch and not a 12 inch speaker. Granted, this is the first tube amp I've owned, but man it sounds beautiful. I can hear every note I play crystal clear, and the dynamics are amazing! This amp is also very versatile since it has 4 inputs grouped by two. One group is for the "normal" sound and the other is for the high treble sound. Each group has two inputs where one is low sensitivity and the other is high sensitivity. Not only that, but you can 'jump' two (or three?) inputs at the same time. Meaning, you can plug your guitar in one input, and have a jumper cable (the short cable for pedals) inputted into two other inputs, and then you can blend the two channels using the two volume knobs for each channel! I own a Rocker 30, which is just too loud for home use. I wanted an amp my son could use at home, and that could also be used in small concerts. This Rocker 15 ticks all the boxes. Headroom / bedroom mode is great. Clean channel is a bit lifeless at low volume, so needs a pedal - I'm using the MXR Timmy at the moment to add some sparkle. Cranked, the clean channel overdrives great. But really you buy it for the dirty channel. I put the gain at around 2 pm with my Strat and it roars. The amp has a lot of bass - this is fine with my Strat, but needs taming with a Gibson SG; I turn the bass and middle nearly all the way down with that guitar. The amp's construction is very good and feels very solid. Highly recommended.

It's not an amp for everyone but if it fits your style it's the best choice you can make, hands down. I switched my Deluxe Reverb RI for the VOX amp for budget reasons.Also, I really love the fact that it's a Fender that smokes 3 packs a day (read it on a YT comment) and the Korg guys managed to make them so cheap in comparison with the other titan tube amps on the market in terms of production cost. Now, I love it even more than my Deluxe Reverb and I would choose it over almost every amp I've ever tried. I had experienced 3 previous Vox amps and one of them was a 1960's original AC30. This amp replaced a Peavey 6505+112 which I loved but I was seeking higher gain tones without having to depend on pedals. The Iconic 5150 looks sharp, its enclosure really stands out yet blends in too. The Iconic has a nice clean channel that, when pushed, goes into from a light to wild crunch. Then you get to that red channel and OMG, it's everything what I need. Super high gain that can be pushed into higher gain with "burn" and "boost" controls too. What I love in this amp is insane tone, flexibility, yet simplicity, build quality seems solid, What I don't like, the noise gate, You can activate it but expect to put another in the loop too

This small and light tube amp is a wonder. Although not pro and a home player/tikerer, I have lots of gear and this amp has become my favourite among many others, tube or solid state. It is the simplest possible: volume, tone, that's it. It is crystal clear in clean but takes pedals well and can get amazingly loud while remaining almost buzz-less. I use it with a Boss GT-100 regularly and it is a dream, real fun combination. Only thing is it heats up A LOT, much more than my 40W Blackstar (tube). Honestly, if I had to, I 'd get rid of them all and keep only that one - for home practise (and small venues I am sure), it is perfect. For the price, maybe I buy a second one ;)

This is a very good guitar amp. I had wanted an AC30 but just didnt need that much power so the AC15 was an obvious amp to consider. At the last moment i opted for the C2 (twin speaker) model. My influences would be too varied to list but i really wanted a really good clean amp sound,( think of george harrison playing Till there was you, live ). The Ac15 c2 has a bigger cabinet helping to give a certain depth also. The top boost channel is really good giving as much clarity and tone variation as you could want. Ialso use the normal channel because gretsch single coil pick ups can be a bit brittle / thin at times, so the normal channel is excellent for that. The telecaster just comes alive at any setting.
