Two more spaces with the same footprint

This has been a great box and I plan on getting a couple more. The power supply is quiet with no interference to the modules and it has two more slots vs others within the same footprint. Win!

Would be nice if every slot would work

Very well constructed, unfortunately I got a horrible tone coming from 4 of the 10 slots, pretty weird .... Seems lot of people got the same problem ... Just buy any pother brand who test their equipments before packing.

Great price, decent product

The price is great, but I found that my modules didn't fit as tight or firm as my other API rack. I didn't have any problems though!

Exellent for the money

Great and quiet, but attention Diy rackers! The unit size is slightly bigger than the normal rack sizes. To handle 10 units, Midas has used all the extra space of rack width, so if your rack is in tight dimensions within specs, you may have to grind yours in order to fit. I did on my unit and no trouble after that. Construction quality and aesthetics are solid.

Works great. Robust, well engineered, no noise issues. Additional aux input and outputs readily available on the rear panel are fantastic for DIY.

Connectors are not straight, makes installing modules very difficult

The actual connectors that the pins of the modules slide into are all at slightly different angles, some of them are more crooked than others. Installing modules, especially ones that are next to other modules can be very difficult, it is hard to do without bending the PCB on your module. If you do it slowly and carefully it works, but I would imagine more expensive units don't have this problem. Once everything is installed, it works as it should, but I haven't owned any other lunchboxes so I don't have anything to compare it to.

500 Series on a budget.

We purchased 2 of these. Built like a tank, with internal unit linking. Cant fault them.

Great 500-series chassis

Works great, period!

The only negative thing is the screwholes to fasten the individual 500 series units. These are of lower quality, so be carefull with that! Everything else is great!

Doesn't fit in standard 19" rack

I love the flexible routing solutions, I love the cheaper price point, I love the fact this unit has 10 slots.

However, those things are just the things that stop this being a one-star review... because it's about 3mm too wide for my rack. Extremely frustrating.

My rack fits everything else - why is this unit out of tolerance?
