Great price, decent product

The price is great, but I found that my modules didn't fit as tight or firm as my other API rack. I didn't have any problems though!

Exellent for the money

Great and quiet, but attention Diy rackers! The unit size is slightly bigger than the normal rack sizes. To handle 10 units, Midas has used all the extra space of rack width, so if your rack is in tight dimensions within specs, you may have to grind yours in order to fit. I did on my unit and no trouble after that. Construction quality and aesthetics are solid.

Great 500-series chassis

Works great, period!

The only negative thing is the screwholes to fasten the individual 500 series units. These are of lower quality, so be carefull with that! Everything else is great!

Best value for price

My only problem with this unit is the torx screws as somebody mentioned. Not sure what the thinking was there, but I managed to find a torx kit at home. Otherwise, no complains, and I especially love the chain function where you can chain up slots, and the big turn on/off thing. It's all metal and sturdy too.

it's a good 500 series rack

The unit is good, but some savings on quality are unavoidable considering the prise, not so important though.

The only minor problem is is annoying --- extremely poor quality of processor mounting screws. They are made of some very soft metal. One false move and you end up with pliers or a drill. My advise is buy proper steel screws before you mount your processors.

They cost next to nothing, so, yeah... it's a bit annoying
