The build quality is high and the function is faithful.

Useful

Very handy and portable, the only downside is to use some slots, especially the first one. But it might as well just be me that struggled unnecessarily.

Anyways, very useful tool !

I've owned many different 500 series racks including the API one and I gotta say for a fraction of the price don't even bother with the other ones. Midas killed it with this! Works flawlessly with no noise issues! 10/10

Great power!

I use this unit with some power hungry units like the IGS Audio One LA 500, I bought the IGS used from a guy who had a more expensive 500-rack. However while his could not give it the power needed, The Midas could.

Just one thing hat I can’t understand is that the package contains no key.

Come on guys! You sell a frame for six units with no key? Really?

An advise for Midas marketing guys: Just put a key in the box and add one € more ;)

Budget 500 series

Great entry level 500 series rack. No issues with instalment. The qulity of the build is very good. The power supply is quite, no hum or hiss. The switching on back panel allows for your own custom signal chain with the use of just two cables. Aux in and out allows you to connect other gear in your rack. I have to say if your on a budget this is perfect.

Amazing quality and value

I was suspicious of the low price but wasn't disappointed. The build quality is just as good as API lunchboxes. Feels just as solid. I had no problems fitting my Neve 1073lb and 2 SSL 6 channels into it. Everything lines up perfectly. Couldn't bring myself to pay for more expensive alternatives again. Only wish it came with spare blank plates.
