Great !

Been using it for years. Love it!

Great with computer, not so great without one

I tended to use this interface with a computer and stand alone. I figured it has multiple midi ins, so you can use it in stand alone right? Wrong, it needs to be powered by a computer, otherwise it doesn't work. Other than that its ok, the build quality is very good, the way it handles midi is ok, could be better. Simple commands are fine, sysex is troublesome.

I installed it once and haven't looked at it ever since. (>1year now)

That thing does what it has to do and never failed on me.

Build as a tank.

The only thing that is slightly annoying is the bleu led light for the power. It is too bright and attracts a lot of attention when a stage is dark ;-), nothing a small piece of tape can't fix ;-)

Works perfectly also for sending sysex messages, there also exists a modified firmware on Github to give it even more features comparable to much more expensive midi interfaces and to use multiple of the same midi interfaces in Windows, this is normally not possible because Windows would detect the device as the same if you would use multiple of the same USB midi devices.

No driver needed plug and play with Ableton, does sysex fine.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do

Nice small midi interface with no hassle. I just plugged it into the computer and it worked right away. Perfect for connecting few keyboards.

Quality product

I have it almost 3 years. Its reliable and stable under Windows 8.1 and MacOS . It has a quality metal construction despite the low price . I am very satisfied with this product and i will order a second one soon to double the available midi ins and outs on my audio system

This interfect is perfect for using between MIDI Instruments & DAW.

Simple setup - plug in and play. Well laid out, and build very well in metal chassis.

Works like a charm. Hooks up your midi devices into one USB cable, put in your computer and runs seemlessly into your DAW. Great for workflow optimalisation and organisation.

Great, sturdy, reliable

I plugged this in after I received it and it just worked. Still works after a year or so, never a problem.

Does everything you need it to

Good product! Plugged in my midi keyboard, immediately worked without any problem. It has a nice weight to it, and looks very slick in design. I recommend it.

Great piece of equipment

Really great midi interface, good build quality and it's nice and light. Handy LED indicators for each port. Miditech driver works well with PC too so no problems when hooking it up

Solid cheap MIDI interface

Been using two of these to control my synthesizers with Windows 7 and Ableton Live for a few years now, no issues so far.

The metal chassis seems sturdy enough, only used them at home so far.

Would recommend.

Sometimes loses sync

Might be my computers fault but it sometimes loses sync. When it doesn't it is great

Does everything it's meant to do, solid quality equipment. Final key to my set up for controlling several synths.

A good unit to extend your midi cabability

I purchased this unit becuase my soundcard has only a single midi in and midi out port. It works well however one thing i have found is that in ableton when using a midi in and out on a single device and you have other device connected, is that you have to disable midi in when playing back and disable midi out when recording otherwise the unit captures all midi from other connected devices. i am sure changing the midi channel on each device would resolve this. I find this to be an very useful item in the studio.

i use this to clock my drum machines and send midi data to my synths ,

no cons all that i wish is that they would revamp this with usb 3 or usb c as to get improved speed and less latency overall

interface is made of solid metal and very reliable would recommend to anyone looking for a simple yet very useful interface

If you are looking for a simple and cheap midi to usb solution, this is it!

I read a lot of good things about this before buying, but I did not immediately found that you can not combine two of these units. So be aware of that.

So, if you only need 4 I/O. This is perfect.
