Can't find better for money

B20 material... And you think that you will find better for this kind of price? I buy 12 and 14 for my sons mini drum set...and they sound really good. If I will star playing drums...want to have bright "recording type" cymbals and dont want to spand 2-3times more cash to get pritty close sound I will defitive go and buy theese product. I didnt play on them, so I can not tell if I can brome them fast...but all I can say is: Kids dont have much feeling hov much is enough to hit a cymbal..even some pros are very heavy handers and broke cymbal cost 300-400€ or even much more. All I can say is ,that my son did not break any of these in a few years 😁. I think that this tells everythig.

Brittle sound, but WAY better than everything for its price!

I since put drilled holes, and it sounds way better and trashier... It was too brittle to be used as a main, ordinary splash.. As a stack though, or if you drill it, it's wonderful. So if you are on a budget:

Take a pass on the sh***y brass

This cymbal may be cheap, but doesn't sound like an a**

Nice splash for the price you pay!

Really nice surprise in this price range.. I guess B20 makes that difference, bought for my son- his first very own drum kit Yamaha DP but way upgraded. Definitely worth the money here..

Great splash - solid sound

This is a really great purchase. The sound is warm with mid sustain - works really great and has a solid sound.

Using this for funk and Rock.

A great addition to any cymbal collection.

Good sound for inexpensive cymbal

For an amateur like me, this is a great cymbal.

Best splash!

This is the best splash for the price range.

I have a Zildjian A Custom 10”, Zildjian K Custom 11”, Istanbul Samatya 10” and this one :)

I can say that compared to price, this is the best.

Good metal, made good, sounds good!

More mini-crash than maxi-splash

I have bought this together with the Zildjian 10" Spiral Stacker.

To stack it on the 12" Millenium.

Plus: I didn't have a 12" cymbal yet.

So I bought this on the many good reviews, saying this was a 'crashy' splash.

The result of the 10"/12" stack was nice, but not better than a much better sounding stack I already had.

With much experimenting, I found that the Zildjian Spiral Stacker combined with my Istanbul 16" China sounded much more interesting.

It's a waste for that beautiful China so I got a similar cheap China to put it on and that works just as nice.

On itself, the Millenium sounds more of a crash than a splash.

In fact, it doesn't sound and play like a splash.........at all.

It's got a very bright crash tone, and however little, there's always more of a body of a crash than that of a splash.

I put this amongst some quality Istanbul/Zildjian cymbals en splashes and it adds another sound, without sounding cheap.

A very tiny gong effect in the distance audible too.

And that's a great accomplishment, because every drummer knows there are enough cymbals under 100 bucks that sound like garbage.

This one blends. Thinly, but present.

Your ears have to get used to the fact this is no splash, and it's very small for a crash.

It's got a soft attack. With that I mean that even when hit hard, there's a fraction of a velocity curve from initial hit to peak loudness.

I would say it has a fast response with a medium decay.

That means it's medium fast strikable, fast enough for big splash effects but also big enough for a higher pitched crash response between the bigger (16/17/18") main crashes.

In fact, I was also looking for a 14" crash to complement the main crashes but this one fills that gap beautifully.

That is it's purpose now in my setup.

You don't have to think of buying this.

For this price: just do it.

I have this for some time now, and it seems sturdy.

Certainly feels like it.

For cheap, you get a addition to your cymbal sound palet, and it's a sufficient head-crash in a minimal (acoustic) set up if portability is a big factor and the room is not too large.

Also very suitable for cheap stacker experiments.

With this, They really hit the right formula between machine fabricated cymbals with as little (or none) hand tuning, but still make them sound very adequate to blend in with most styles.

Maximum rating.

Very good, very stable, very bright.

I was pleasantly surprised by this acquisition. Knowing the company Millennium, I was skeptical about the quality of their products, Yes, it is cheap, but the quality is also, you know, not so good. This splash convinced me, I did not think that everything would be so neatly made. It is turned out exactly, the edges are rounded and there are no hollows or scratches on them. the sound is very clear, with an average sustain. For this price, it couldn't be better.

Perfect

Can't say a bad thing about it. Very cheap and good sounding. It's really worth it.

Amazing for the price

Really suprised with the B20 Millenium splash. Great weight resulting in great sustain, almost a mini crash compared to my Paiste PST7 10" splash, not trashy at all like other cheap splashes.

Budget cymbal

Sound is excellent for the price. Too bright for me using as splash but i use this for my small home kit as hi-hat with another splash and it is very good sounding for that. If i had more rock bright cymbals it would be good splash.

Great value

The sound is good, and for this price it's great!

No real cons for this price. Just worth every penny.

Good value but sound is not to my taste

The sound is not like the soundbite on the website but then it probably never is.

Surprised by the sound

I needed somwhat of a crossbreed between a crash and a splash and this thing works the charm. I was also pleasantly surprised tha the audio samples on the page and the real thing sounds the same.

Excellent sound for the price!

Great splash.

I tried this next to a Zildjian and honestly, I prefer this cymbal. That I could buy four for the price of the "professional" one I can only assume is because the Zildjian will last 10 years while this will crack after 2.

I'll get back to you in 2 years for an update.

Unbelievable quality for this price

I've shown my new MIllenium set (12" splash, 14" hats, 16" crash, 18" crash and 20" ride) to my friend and producer, and few days later he ordered the same set, saying, that these are almost on par with most Zildjians/Sabians etc. and if they cost so little, he gets them just to have one more set of great sounding cymbals.

The 12" splash matches the rest, sounds great (both miked and live), what can I say - if You like sound of B20 - go for it!

Much better than expected

Bought this as bottom cymbal for 12" Hihat. Pleasantly surprised with sound, and overall quality. It is slightly bigger than 12" but i don't mind. It has sound between a splash and a small crash. Price is unbeatable by far.

voila voila.
