Millenium 14" B20 Crash Reviews
14" Crash B 20
These Cymbals are very good for the price they cost. made of B 20 so those sound like the typical B 20 Cymbals - good. there is only one thing which is not top notch and thats the sustain, it is a bit shorter as from those expensive ones ( Zildjian etc) I play very hard at some points and I hit them hard since nearly half a year and they are still with me, no cracks, keyholes or whatsoever. so the Cymbals from Millenium are very very good if you are on a low Budget and play like Metal/Punk or such things. a clear recommendation from my side.
B20 material
I bought them for my son and for this price you won't find other cymbals with B20 material, which is practically the standard for top class cymbals. They are of course thinner, so they are not for stronger charging. If you have imagination and ideas and can make some holes and the like, you can make a stack cymbal or any effect type cymbal for a little money and I an sure that will sound better than cheap stacks which are not cheap if you know what I mean. The sound is not bad at all. Better then some mainl classic series which really sounds like crap to me...ear damage. If you are looking for better and thicker low budget B20 cymbals than Zultan manufacturer or Armoni (Sonor) is a top choice. If you have money lying around or you are a professional or want perfect sound then go Sabian AAX, Zildijan,... or something in that range.
To give some context, I bought the Millenium 12" splash, 14" and 16" crash on a budget for a bar band I joined, to use with an old entry-level Pearl kit I picked up for 150â¬. Getting three B20 cymbals for about 100⬠is amazing considering most cymbal manufacturers are taking us for a ride these days (pun intended!). I think they sound good live (they crash well, cut through nicely and have a short ring with inaudible overtones). I also get the feeling that they aren't so cheaply made that they're going to be particularly susceptible to breaking. I'm a light hitter though, so your mileage my vary. IMO they sound better than the Meinl HCS and Sabian B8 that came with the kit - I'll be selling those. For studio recording I'm not sure how the Milleniums would hold up though. They don't look great on very close inspection (they're only machined - not hand finished), and the hole on one of them isn't quite perfectly circular.
excellent!
b20, nice finish and hammering.short, sharp, not "gongy" like most chinese cymbals.Don't be afraid of price, qaulity is there.
Fine for practice
It doesn't sound amazing but for that price I really can't complain.
Trashy
This cymbal is trashy and Crisp sounding like a china cymbal, I use it for a good top hihat
Makes a noise when you hit it.
Not the best sounding cymbal in the world, but it is just about the cheapest.

Лучшее сочетание цена/качество, сплав b20 звучит. Отличная тарелка за такую стоимость. Хорошо сочетается с моим крэшем Zultan 16" Dark Matter.
Excellent crash for practice and beginners
You are hardly going to get a better deal on a 14" crash (and a B20 alloy at that) for as cheap as this one. Naturally, the sound leaves something to be desired: it has short sustain and there's a slight, barely noticeable inconsistency with every other hit but things like these are to be expected. It's overall bright (check the sound sample to get a sense) and the quality is great.
Bottom line: for the price, it's an unmatched crash that will save you big bucks if you're looking for a less serious commitment. Recommended.
Zeer goede crash
Good for it's price
I was surprised for how good it sounds, given it's price. But it's quality is not the best and I'm starting to feel some breaks in the sound (not in the crash itself). But given the price at which I bought it I think it's definately a good buy. Surprising to say the least!
They don't sound good
I think I was in love for the sound of the online catalogue.
When I got it home I tried it in many positions and different situations but they just won't sound good. I guess that's the price you gotta pay if you're willing to try new stuff. It's not at all terrible, it's just not good, maybe it's alright for begginers!
Great little cymbal.
Great sound. Takes a beating. Hard to beat for the price.
Great sound for very little money
This is a first crash cymbal I have purchased. For the money the sound is amazing. It has enough attack to rival the much more expensive cymbals out there and is plenty loud.
It does not look particularly pretty but will happily compromise on that for the sound it gets.
lovely lush sound
used this, standalone, with beaters, and got a lovely lush sound. recommended.
Bright Crash Sound
Its been 3 mo. i use this cymbal and i might say the sound of cymbal is medium bright, not so heavy and not tiny, it would brighten the song.
But, i have a little bit cons. about the sustain. The sustain is not stable, sometimes the sound's over within different times.
About quality i might say this is quiet tough and comparable to big brand names. I brought sometimes to gigs, and still looking good.
So my recommendation, grab this one for those who are just begin with drum or just want to save some money as any big brands will yield more expensive yet same quality.
Millenium 14" B20 Crash
ok...im simply going to say that these cymbals are a B20 composite like all your zildgian sabian istanbul paiste and the sound is in no way affected by the price ..
i bought a 14 inch crash ..and as soon as it arrived and i heard the sound of it ..i then ordered a 12 16 18 i use these cymbals with pride and people can't believe the price when they ask ..sounding so good ..i highly highly recommend these cymbals for a low cost great sounding set ..seriously awesome !! you won't be disappointed
I will use as a hi-hat
Good base, good sound, paired sound quite loud, good. Exactly what is needed
Top!
Really good sound! This is a real cymbal for a really cheap price. Make yourself a favour, if you have low budget, buy this one instead of cymbals made of brass.
Great B20 cymbal for an unbelievable price!
I had already the Millenium B20 cymbal set and after adding the Millenium B20 18 inch crash, I have decided to add one more crash. I am very happy that I stayed withing the product line of Millenium B20. Great sound, long sustain and nice look. Only down part is that you have to clean it often, because every stick hit leaves a little mark on the surface... But a good sounding B20 alloy cymbal for this price, its still unbelievable. Strongly recommended.
