Millenium BD 100
Micro Tripod For Bass Drum

Latest User Reviews
Quick and dirty but does the job.
Very stable on even surfaces. Rather heavy. Perfect height for bass drums and low speaker cabinets. Absolutely nothing special but like the headline says: it absolutely does the job.
Solid
Small functional and solidly made. I use this for a kick drum mic or sometimes when putting a mic in front of a guitar cab.
Super Handy for kick drums and Cajuns
Does what it should
No problems or quality issues, feels very sturdy even with a heavy mic.
Great little stand
Quality build. Heavy and stable. Works perfectly for my Cajon.
Heavy, great for Kick mic
Nice HEAVY little stand. Bought it for kick drum mic.
Because the hole in my drums is quite low i had to mount my AKG D112 MK1 upside down in the holder. This mic is quite bulky so i had to leave it pointing a bit up (rear mesh of mic would be touching the stand).
Not really a problem of this stand, rather the AKG mic.
Would have to point it up a bit anyway to point it to the beater.
The stand can be disassembled in to a set of "Sticks" so it is easier to transport.
It is also very heavy so a heavy mic won't tip the stand over + you don't need to weight it down with a sand bag.
Would recommend..
Small and cheerful
This'll hold most kick mics quite well either at the skin aperture or slightly outside. If you're wanting to place the mic inside the drum, it doesn't really reach very far.
Build quality is very basic. Assembly is super easy although mine has a slight lean due to inaccurate hole placements.
OK
Perhaps not the most flexible bass drum stand, but if you cut the hole in the bass drum head to the size of this stand (or turn it a bit), and you like to place the microphone half in/half out of the hole, it is very handy and takes little place. It is also very suitable for guitar combos, as at maximum height it is just high enough to be perpendicular to the center of the speaker.
It holds the microphone up like you've never seen before
As a stand you can't really go wrong with this little guy. It's relatively small which is perfect for my lil' breakbeat kit (16" BD), holding the microphone at the perfect location to get some oomph out of the kick. Highly recommend to anybody needing a kick mic stand or even just for a microphone close to the ground. Perfect it is.
Simple and effective
Got it in a Superlux Pro 218A Bundle to mike my 20" bass drum with no porthole.
Simple and effective design, very heavy and stable. Uses very little space so it is unlikely to be accidentally kicked on a small stage.
The processing is more than decent.
All in all, works great unless you want to reach deep inside the porthole.
