Millenium BD 100 5-stars Reviews
Solid
Small functional and solidly made. I use this for a kick drum mic or sometimes when putting a mic in front of a guitar cab.
Super Handy for kick drums and Cajuns
Great little stand
Quality build. Heavy and stable. Works perfectly for my Cajon.
Heavy, great for Kick mic
Nice HEAVY little stand. Bought it for kick drum mic.
Because the hole in my drums is quite low i had to mount my AKG D112 MK1 upside down in the holder. This mic is quite bulky so i had to leave it pointing a bit up (rear mesh of mic would be touching the stand).
Not really a problem of this stand, rather the AKG mic.
Would have to point it up a bit anyway to point it to the beater.
The stand can be disassembled in to a set of "Sticks" so it is easier to transport.
It is also very heavy so a heavy mic won't tip the stand over + you don't need to weight it down with a sand bag.
Would recommend..
It holds the microphone up like you've never seen before
As a stand you can't really go wrong with this little guy. It's relatively small which is perfect for my lil' breakbeat kit (16" BD), holding the microphone at the perfect location to get some oomph out of the kick. Highly recommend to anybody needing a kick mic stand or even just for a microphone close to the ground. Perfect it is.
Simple and effective
Got it in a Superlux Pro 218A Bundle to mike my 20" bass drum with no porthole.
Simple and effective design, very heavy and stable. Uses very little space so it is unlikely to be accidentally kicked on a small stage.
The processing is more than decent.
All in all, works great unless you want to reach deep inside the porthole.
Great product!
Great product, very stable, all you really need for a simple kick mic placement. Also really compact and easy to take for gigs.
Don't mind the "quality"
This is a very cool tripod for Bass Drum. It's easy to change the hight. The quality is obviously not superb but it's cheap and it's actually very handy! Easy and perfect for Bass drum or guitar/bass cab!
Good compact stand
Dose what i need it to do and it’s more versatile than I thought it would be.
internal part of the stand cracked when i was tightening it still works though.
Good mic stand for kick drum mic.
Good quality small kick mic stand, only downside is that you cant adjust the height a little bit. The height fits most positions for kick drums, but might not fit for center position on larger ones.
Nice n easy
Stable smart and small stand . Perfect for a bass drum and guitar cabinet
Nice and sturdy
This mic stand allows me to put a XLR mic on my desk from streaming.
It's small, nice and sturdy. 5/5 stars well deserved
Does the job done for a low price
I'm using it as a microphone stand for a Cajon. The height is perfect for positioning the mic inside/outside the hole. It is sturdy and tough, although it doesn't feel premium, but it doesn't need to be, especially for the price.
Simple & solid
Solid build.
Does what you expect.
Sturdy tripod that's nothing fancy, but it does what I needed it to do. I was a bit worried that it might tip over when using a heavier mic but it's no problem at all.
Good stand
Not much to say really, does the job it was designed and made to do. Holds a bass drum microphone without a problem, fits inside my stick bag. Sturdy, yet not too heavy. Great choice.
For the price? You can't go wrong.
This is literally the cheapest stand you can get, but it's still fully functional and actually quite sturdy.
There's of course gonna be some plastic elements in it, where it probably it's not the best idea - like the clamps, but what can you do - the thing is dirt-cheap.
If you don't plan on moving it around too much - get it. It's perfectly fine.
Neat Little Stand
Compact and easy to use. Good amount of weight so you'll have no fear of tipping (mostly). Predominantly use it on kicks and amps in recording scenarios with zero issues.
The only con (and it's nit picking) would be that I wasn't sure how long it would last as I had to tighten the risen portion quite a lot in comparison to other stand and was not convinced the thread would last. However, it has served me well so far almost a year on.
Just make sure to check you measurements as always! It's been fine for me, but I've heard a few people complain about the height once they put a mic onto it.
nice one
good stand, i place my mic in various positions and achieve a satisfying sound
Fine item
If you have not s mike with grip, ti's a very good solution to record your bass drum. I personally placed it inside the b.d. from the small output hole, to maximise recording direct signal.
