Louder than I expected

It's certainly loud enough to use as practice amp in a small room, gives the impression of being almost as loud as a real drumkit.

Auxiliary input is nice for playing along to a track. There is a volume control. Do you really need anything else?

Good monitor

Good monitor for home use.

Nice concept, but kicks don't have that "oomph"

Bought this for my son who play a Roland electronic drumkit. For the snare, hats and toms the sound is quite good, but I don't like the bass for kick drums. It is not deep enough to my liking. Yes there is an EQ but turning up the bass also affects the toms which become really loud when cranked up too much. Overall, good amp for practice but not that inspiring (to me at least ...)

Cheap and cheerful

I bought this for my electric drum kit. It's pretty much what I expected for the price I paid. The size is OK with a reasonable quality build and feel to it. The sound quality is very average quality - it's good for home us and nothing more really.

Solid little monitor

I have 2 x electric drum kits hooked up to this monitor via a small mixing desk. It works brilliantly. Well built and reliable. Would recommend

Great sound and volume

This speaker was a lot louder than I thought it was going to be and my children certainly take advantage of this in the house. The only down size is that the jack inputs are held in place by some plastic nuts that are very easy to come loose, in fact all three of the have come off and the jack inputs have fallen inside the speaker.

I am sure this probably wouldn't have happened if my kids hadn't actively been involved, however, something to be aware of.

Drum Pratice monitor

Great little practice monitor for a drummer maybe playing along with cd or low volume rehearsal, but wouldn't be able for gig volume which it not really meant for anyway. Seems well built, reliable and very good value, has input for iPod or cd good range of frequencies and headphone output handy.

Ordered another...

Damn thing so good I ordered another! For this price I wasnt expecting much, but love this thing to bits. The tone controls are a bit weird & seem to interact with each other. Initially I thought the thing was crap, but after I realised how the controls worked I managed to dial in a great tone.

Only slight issue is the on/off switch, which is a soft control & tends to switch off after a period of disuse. Good thing I suppose, but keeps catching me out.

Millenium DM-30 Drum Monitor

Bought to use with a Millenium E/A Bundle e-kit -and it was very good, nice quality sounds at all volumes, no distortion to the ear but no speaker jacks.

If in uk you will need an appropriate 2 pin adapter for the voltage but no complaints here..I will upgrade though. Sensitive and does the job nicely I wll probably use with a Roland keyboard later on.
