Millenium HB5A Hornbeam BK Reviews
Good drumsticks
They sound and feel great.
OK for the price
These drumsticks are lighter and thinner than most other 5A sticks, giving them a unique feel. The quality is not the highest, because (at least mine) the sticks are of different weight, which may not be so important for a beginner, but it is still a little annoying. The polish/paint on the sticks is also not of the highest quality, as it started peeling/falling off after one jam session. Overall, the product is not the best, but for the price, these are really good sticks.
Great Light Drumsticks
Excellent drumsticks , nice and light when you want to play low in a smaller venue.
Cool looking drum sticks
Great set of drumsticks at a great price. Got this set as an alternative colour to the usual wooden types. The black coating makes them look very cool. Sound is good and quality is good too. The price is great. Recommended.
bought for my son
I bought as a present for my son and he loved the cool color. not sure about playability at professional level.
For the price, these are good
Good sticks that do what you expect
Not matched pairs, so the "sound of the sticks" can vary a lot, which seems to be true for the Millenium sticks.
Price/performance: Great
Overall quality: OK
Sp I'll buy more if I need them :)
great sticks
cheap but well build and comfortable
Lightweight and thin
Bought as part of Millenium's drumstick starter bundle, which is a great bundle for beginners.
The sticks are lightweight and a bit thinner than most 5A sticks. Apparently I'm not a big fan of black sticks - but not bad for the price!
they work
they work just as they are supposed to, i have nothing to be unhappy about.
Just fine
Paint comes off immediately but otherwise just fine.
Perfect for edrums
They are great for home-recording using a Roland SPD-S. Strong bounce, and the weight and balance are just right.
Good quality
Great look and quality. Good weight. Quite sturdy and can take a beating.
Great for "starters"
I bought this for my almost 2 year old drummer. He has no control over the strength he uses the drumsticks so they had to be really strong and durable. I'm happy with the outcome. It's cheap and it can take the beating!
good stuff
but slippery but good
Eye catcher drum sticks
Great quality...
Will catch some looks with these...
works fine
I purchase bundle that contain this stics. Good for beginner to understand diffrent types of mallets and sticks. Quality is not so strong and dont last long. When you use tape, then lifetime is little bit longer. Black colour gives some value effect :P
Good response
The Millenium HB5A Hornbeam BK sticks have not only a beautiful, exclusive black and white look. but also a fine balance and a great, stable and excellent quality. I prefer using the light 5A sticks, because I receive a quick and really good response from the drumheads. You can have much fun and joy with these special basic sticks.
Good Value sticks
These sticks Look great - Black with the wood tips. The balance is good I prefer using the 5A as I get a better response from the drum that the heavier 5B. The cross stick sound is good too.
Millenium HB5A Hornbeam BK
These sticks just look SO cool!! The black painted shafts, rounded off with the exposed plain wood tips, is fantastic. In fact, they look so good that my budding drummer son decided that he hsd to have them for himself. Really nice feel to the sticks, highly recommended.
Millenium HB5A Hornbeam BK
For some reason I wanted a pair of black drum sticks. I assumed the wood would be stained through black. These sticks had a thin coating of black paint that falls off very easily when being used to play the drums.
They are also very light, and break easily.
