Millenium HB5A Hornbeam -Wood- Reviews
Great pro sticks .
Another quality product from Millennium . I find the balance, tone and longevity as good as any 5b wood tip, from the big three manufacturers. Great value sticks .
Excellent pair of drum sticks
Got these for home and practice use. They are great. Very well made and study. Wood is of good quality. A true value for money set of sticks which I highly recommend.
Well balanced, durable, affordable
I've been playing with these sticks for quite some time now, and they're exactly what I need. Robust, well balanced and tough! And very affordable, you play hard and you don't care much for the abuse you give them.
they work
they work just as they are supposed to, i have nothing to be unhappy about.
Good value
Can't fault them for the money and mine came free added as a bundle when I bought my kit. Difficult to imagine how anyone makes money on them :)
BUY THESE
Don't waste your money on flash brand names. These sticks are hard wearing with a fairly non slip surface and ultimately like all drum sticks wear out and break so why spend more than you need to.
Only being used as an excited
I am not a drummer, i just bought it for exciting objects and making them ring, I can't judge on the sustainability when drumming!
good quality drum sticks
I still have this pair. I can't find a problem with them. The grip is good, weight is good, finish is very nice. They lasted a lot in my use. Would recommend this for rock/metal drumming
Low quality just good for practice
A pair of low quality drumsticks for practice
Good for e-drums
I've initiated my drum classes with these drumsticks and they are pretty good. I've played on an electronic drum set and I wasn't that hard. I've tried on a acoustic drum set but they are too light for and you don't feel it enough. If you're playing on a electronic set, you will be more than fine with these.
They do exactly what you'd expect them to
I bought a set of these along with a set of e-drums as I expected the sticks included with the drums to be a bit lightweight.
These sticks proved to feel a lot more "dense" and higher quality than those included with the e-drum kit. Those included with the e-drums felt unfinished and prone to splintering where these have a satin finish which feels a lot more pleasant in the hand, yet doesn't slip.
After using them quite extensively (with a rubber head / plastic cymbal e-drum kit) for well over a year, they still look and feel as good as they did when I received them - playing (or at least trying to play) thrash metal, I do tend to use them to hit quite hard so it isn't as though I've been treating them with kid gloves.
Of course one would reasonably expect much, much more wear and tear if used with a metal rimmed / metal cymbal acoustic kit and they would need to be replaced in a fraction of the time, but they'll probably last forever with an e-drum kit. Though for the price, it certainly wouldn't cause any pain to have to buy another set (or five).
Overall, I don't think that one could reasonably expect any more from a set of sticks. For this price they're a phenomenal bargain!
Perfect for Electric Drum Kits!
When I play on an accoustic drum kit, I often damage the sticks when playing heavier genres of music, but on the electric drum set this never happens so these sticks are the perfect combination! They're super light so I'm able to play fast and can also give that grip I want to really punch the drums, love it!
Good bargain
Simple good quality material. Good grip in hand.
Nice sticks
They feel really nice.
Milled Millenium
I love these sticks. Hard Hornbeam, durable, medium light, they feel good in my hands. Nicely balanced 5A model. I use these for rehearsals and live gigs. I practice with heavier sticks and play live with these. I buy them in bulk. I bought 12 pairs of these in my last order. Affordable quality sticks.

Best drumsticks ever
It has got a smooth finishing. It's light and has a decent grip. It's a perfect one(in my view). I do recommend it for all of you out there.
Perfect
The best hornbeam for an electronic drums.
Quality sticks for an amazing price.
Suitable for all levels of drummer, these sticks and great quality and value for money. They can take a lot of abuse and still feel nice to play. Highly advised!! A+++++
good
They do their job!!!!
Still alive
After 2 years of torture by my younger brother who is learning to play e-drum ,they still work and i received them for free as a part of bundle 'alesis dm lite bundle' ,very good.
So pros:
very sturdy,and wont break easily,but still light enough,good feel in the hands,balanced;
Cons:
for e-drum alesis dm lite which is small-it would be better to bundle smaler hornbeam
