Nice keyboard stand when using pedals

Bought this one to go with my Hammond SKX-pro. This keyboard accepts a lot of pedals: expression pedal, Lesley switch, sustain pedal, extra switch (e.g. for stepping presets). A lot of pedals underneath! I could not use that with a keyboard stand with crossed legs. You see them a lot, they look like an X-shape. I studied the pictures of this KS-2000 together with soms more expensive and also cheaper ones. From the picture showing details of the construction, I've chosen for this KS-2000. When it came it turned out a good choice for me: it completely meets my expectations for a good, stable and sturdy stand, which is easy to move. I needed to adjust the stand once to match the feet under my keyboard, the height for my arms and hands and then all this is set. For moving to an other place I only have to pick up the stand, the legs are easily folded in. For setting up, just fold the legs outside and there you are. No adjustment to do. There is only one minus: I could not find a accessory matching this stand for mounting a (small) second keyboard above it, like my 40 year old DX7. Or perhaps a vintage monosynth. But for me this is less important.

Perfect for the money

Using it to hold up a somewhat heavy digital organ, very stable and roadworthy

Strong, sturdy and classy

This keyboard stand effortlessly carries the fill weight of the piano and still sits pretty like it's firmly screwed to the floor.

Suitable for my needs

I'm using this with the Roland RD2000 and it's holding up well so far.

quite good

It's easy to set up and use, with a sturdy design that keeps your keyboard secure and stable. The stand is also adjustable, allowing you to find the perfect height and angle for your keyboard. However I received mine broken from two corners, I didn't send it back as its a bit of a hustle from Canada to Germany

Use mine as an organ bench.

I actually use this stand as an organ bench. I have simply made a wood seat and put it on top and got rid of the chrome leg extensions. It takes alot more weight now than a keyboard and 3 months later it still works just fine!

very stable

very easy to take down and very sturdy when set up. I use it with my Crumar Mojo Classic and have only good things to say

I feel a liitle bit high even at the lowest set-uo position with a full hammer action thick keyboard.

Strong stable

Good stand. My only note is that there is not a lot of room for much height adjustment. Very strong and good quality otherwise.

Excellent and reasonably priced.

I have got two of these and they are both as sturdy and as stable as other much more expensive products. Woul definitely buy again if I needed another one.

Sturdy

I wanted to have a piano stand that would not shake or move when I play - and this is it.

Im happy with it!

Exactly what you see!

Does exactly what it says on the tin!

The only slight gripe is that when moving the stand with a keyboard the legs will flop inwards so when re-placing it you'll have to make sure they are fully extended again.

heavy duty stand, very good for stage pianos and other `heavy` keyboards !!!

Does the trick, nice size and useful!

Used as keyboard stand, mixer stand and DJ-table.

The small plastic feet are the main thing keeping the build quality down, since they will break under a heavy keyboard.

Versitile usability but I'd recommend getting a larger one for heavy keyboards.

Not the cheapest, but quite good

I wouldn't call it super sturdy but it doesn't really wobble either. Super simple to install. Individually adjustable legs with the usual screws on the bottom. Small footprint if you need to clean under it.

As a very casual user I'd call the price the biggest negative, but if you're like me you'll look carefully at the options and wouldn't want the cheapest stand possible for your instrument.

I use it for my Kawai stage piano that I use casually at home as a beginner / hobbyist.

Nicely done

Paint job is high quality, welds are not bad, bottom touch really looks shiny&cool. Could have attachment for second keyboard. I can recommend it.

Sturdy with my VPC 1 Kawai

I bought it as I wanted to have a relatively good margin of safety for the amount of weight the stand can carry and the weight of my piano. A good margin will provide stability and flexibility in how I can use it. I

Stability:

I use it at home at its lower height setting, so I do not gig with it. I rarely play FFF, but FF works very well. This means that the keyboard will not wobble as you go on your FF playing : ).

Height:

There is enough padding on the top so it will not scratch the piano as you place it there. The lowest height is low enough. Sadly there is a handle in the middle of the stand which gets in the way if you want to have the stand very low and sit deeply in (but I do not). I have not tried setting it in the tallest position.

I would recommend it to friends.

Too long; did not read.

Positives - Stable

will not scratch the piano

can carry a lot of weight

easy to set up, easy to pack away

Negatives

There is a handle in the middle of the stand that can get in the way
