Round sound, very fair

These shakers sound full enough, natural, excellent for the price.

Should appear in every studio

Why bother with sampled maracas when you can find a good pair like this at a fair price?

Compared to wooden maracas, it does have a somewhat clunky and unauthentic feel in the hand, but the material is solid and does not affect the sound in any negative way. A pair of these should be lying around in every studio.

Nice Shakers

I mainly use these for practicing Latin shaker patterns. They're great, but maybe a bit too synthetic-sounding. Great for the money though!

they sound like maracas...

... but I have heard better ones. Hey, look at the cost. Stop complaining.

Good sound but brittle wood

I didn't realise they're made from quite thin wood. I fear dropping them on the floor or something because I fear they would break. The sound etc are excellent for the price.

Grand

Grand does what you want and is sturdy you can beat it about and wont fall apart on you it'll will endure being sat on and dropped with out cracking its a good cheap piece of percussion that can add something different to jams
