Essential tool for your PA ditty box

You never know when that cable will stop working, not even which one in a chain. This has saved our sound engineer's brain from melting on more than one occasion. Has the capability of testing just about any cable you will be using and in our case quite a few more too. Get one, it will even tell you which wire is faulty. It would have been nice if it had a case. We keep it in the cardboard box it came in.

No thrills, does the job

Have been using it for about two years now, and was totally reliable so far. It's heavy, feels solid, I can totally recommend it.

As musician , soundtech and even lighting operator !

Multimeters both digital and analogue do the trick but this device brings just convenience thru its multiconnetors including sound both power signal as midi as ethernet as video bnc and so on and if you still work with non led or arc lamps you can use the 2 leads for continuity!

Quality build, accurate results

Big range of cable types, can be used by both amateurs and professionals. Accurate cable testing, will show if cables have been terminated correctly or incorrectly. Eg. Even if you can hear audio via your XLR, it doesn’t mean it’s terminated properly and won’t have quality issues. Great investment for a small price.

invaluable testing tool

I never though a cable tester could be so useful but now the first thing I do when I get any new cables is to run them thru the tester to ensure I won't have any unexpected surprises at the worst possible moment. already saved me once as it detected a doa cable that was imediatly returned and replaced instead of making me waste much more time trying to find why some device on my chain is only working on 1 side

Excellent, once you manage to connect the battery.

You really have to put some pressure on those terminals to get them to snap onto the battery.

After that, the tester is flawless. Heavy metal, confidence-inspiring piece, worthy of having in your arsenal of tools.

Feels like a tank and nails the job.

SOLID AND DEPENDABLE

Solid construction with every connection I could possibly need. Has helped me identify problems and saved me throwing out perfectly good cables. An essential piece of kit that I keep within reach for all of my sound engineering projects.

Great tool!

Sturdy body and nice bright LEDs. My only criticism is I wish the LEDs stayed off if the continuity broke so it was easier to spot intermittently dodgy cables.
