Good throne for the price

The throne was pretty stable but the quality could be better

Actually pretty good!

It's nuts how expensive drum thrones got...

So, trying to spend something less than an obscene amount of money, I chose this one. And, it's actually pretty sturdy. It's used a LOT! In a busy drum school with around 40 different students each week - all different shapes, sizes and weights (adults and kids), and so it is adjusted and moved every day, and every hour for about 6 hours a day!

Not the most luxurious or comfortable chair in the world, but it's a workhorse for sure and definitely worth the money.

Sturdy stuff

This throne is very sturdy with a plush material on the cushion.

Mabey a little heavy, but very good.

I had to change stool because mine gave me back problems and I resorted to this. It certainly helped me a lot, but I must say it's not the most stable I've ever tried, though it feels cosy and when properly locked it doesn't get lower or higher and the seat is wide enough for you to change your posture while playing for some nice footwork.

My advice is you should try it!

Comfortable

Very good budget throne, nice and soft - my bottom does not hurt even after couple of hours of drumming...go for it

I used this drum Throne for many years and honestly I think for this price u can't have any better.

But is not very confortable...after 30 mins u start to feel it and playing becomes annoying cause it's not very soft.

I passed to the 100 euros version and it's amazing so I suggest to invest 50 more euros and buy the 100 euros version.

This seat is great. The bottom of the legs do seem to wiggle when being transported, but it's definitely a solid seat when in use! The rotating-height adjustment is perfect!

Decent enough

The same base as on the round topped option and the seat is actually smaller than I expected. Compared to others it's a small saddle, definitely not in the league as tama frist chair or roc n soc.

The top is fairly hard and contoured but not uncomfortable.

I would say it's not ideal for really big folk if you were after something roomy as it's not big enough. Decent quality otherwise.

This throne is sturdy and very well built .

I recommend this drum throne , its cheap and good quality.

Bigger than i was expecting!

Bought this seat, because i also got a new drum kit, and i didnt have drum throne.

Its very comfortable, not too hard, not too squishy, just right.

It wiggles a little bit, but when you play, you get more concentrated on music, not on sitting.

Only thing that i got surprised of was the size of it. In pictures it looks smaller, but when you sit on it, it feels very big, but that is not a problem, i like it. And the shape of throne is nice, because its more comfortable to sit on one of these rather than circle shape ones.

I reccomend this stool, because its cheap and good quality.

Reason why I bought this was of course the price. I know that there are more comfortable and more stable chairs, but really, for its price, this chair is very well built, easy to adjust and you can practice or play show for ours before getting tired or feeling your bottom end hurts. I love Millenium stuff and I can't figure out how are they able to produce the stuff so cheap.

If you are looking for a cheap, stable chair for rehearsals - don't look any further.

Cons:

- I would take this on a tour as I don't think the hardware would last if you are going to set the chair every night

- size (also a plus)

- weight (also a plus)

- there are more comfy chairs

Millenium drum throne

Use; no matter how great the set-up is, if the throne is wobbly and askew, it makes even the simple beats messy to play by wasting energy on trying to keep balance and stay on the same height. A good drum throne is a must for touring and live shows, cuz it?s highly likely the local club thrones will be worn out and unreliable.

Pros;

+ good metal composite and solid locks! If taken care of, this throne will last for quite some time.

+ the shape of the seat is very comfortable for longer shows and rehearsing. I find the small round seats uncomfortable

+ for the price, it?s well built, solid, double braced legs for stability.

+ pretty light, which is an advantage for transporting and mobility.

Cons;

- be careful not to move around on it too much as it will loosen the top lock, under the seat

- as it is not super heavy-duty built, watch out for resting your weight on one side as it can bend the main bar, making it near impossible to maintain balance afterwards.

- i would suggest getting a separate carrying bag for it, as it does not come with one. The cover of the seat is great, but it will scratch and rip if continuously thrown into the same harware case along with cymbal stands and other hardware.

Summary;

To buy or not to buy? ? Buy! For the price, it?s great and reliable.

Good quality for a reasonable price

Comfortable enough with a decent quality. The threads system you use to lift up the throne might not be the best but... is good enough.

The really good thing is the size of the seat. It's really good for your back because your bottom doesn't go outside the throne and you don't have to be struggling to stay in the same position.

Cheap substitute until you have enough for a proper seat.

Notice that I give 1/5 for stability. In my opinion, any drum seat that wiggles, has the lowest possible stability. This one wiggles a lot. I see this seat as only a cheap and quick solution until you have enough to buy a proper seat.

Pros:

+ Not round, but shaped to accommodate a human body.

Cons:

- Wiggles.

- Wiggles a lot.

- Construction that sets the height and how much the seat rotates could be much better.

Sturdy,well built stool.

The good-it's well built and easy to adjust and is comfortable for long periods of drumming.

The bad-The seat covering doesn't really breathe so expect your behind to be stuck to your pants at the end of a gig.

Having said that a good product and excellent value for money.

Great throne for long periods

I used to play with a flat throne, which some times causes some discomfort. This throne make my playing more comfortable for longer periods. I just found one problem in it. I tend to sweat a lot and this doesn't help in the sweating problem. But if using a towel on it, this problem can be little mitigated.
