Millenium MDT4 Drum Throne Round Reviews
Solid
Solid, stable, comfortable and well built. That's all.
Good enough.
I use this drum throne with the MPS 850 e-kit. This is my first time drumming so I wanted to buy some decent hardware at a low price. The MDT4 is a good choice for this purpose.
Pro's: Sturdy, affordable, no noise when seated by a 70kg individual
Con's: It requires a drum key to tighten it for use, as a complete beginner I was not aware of this.
Good
Will do the job.
Great Throne
Cheap and cushioned: sometimes you can spend less money on things and get exactly what you paid for - less quality. But in this case, the throne was much chunkier and sturdier than I expected. Its not mind blowing but it most certainly covers what you need in terms of movement, sturdiness and comfort.
Very sturdy construction and very comfortable to use.
Great starter kit
This is a great drum kit for starters. It is easy to set up and perfect for practice. My son is using it and has progressed well as a result.
Very good value for money
Nice finish, easy to assemble, very comfortable, and very stable.
Very well packed so the product arrived in perfect conditions.
I strongly recommend this product.
Unstable
This is the first drum throne that I've ever purchased so I don't have anything to compare it against.
Having said that I find it quite difficult to get at the various fittings in order to tighten or loosen them, especially the wing nut that locks the height adjustment.
The problem is that the wing nut is much too close to the collar that sits above the fixed part of the stoll upright so when you turn the nut the wings rub right up against the collar making it hard to adjust.
If I ever buy another drum throne I will be paying particular attention to this area as this has made it difficult for me to get the height of the seat just right.
Suitable for use with the Millenium drum set
This stool serves its purpose very well. A good product.
Very well built and stable
I weigh around 100kg and this chair is not moving one millimeter under me. It is easy to assemble and comfortable to sit on. I don't have a lot of experience with other thrones but this is one is spot on for the price.
Excellent
Excellent value for money !!!!!!
good simple throne
Nice drum throne, handling is very good. Quick and easy to set up and pack back down. The tripod feels sturdy, and can take a beating. The throne itself feels a bit wobbly, but I don't really mind that.
No bells and whistles, but does what I want and need it to do!
Decent Throne for the money
After rocking this throne for a good period of 6 months, I have the feeling of stability to the ground level, but it gets a bit wobbly close to the actual seat. This small movement doesn't affect the playing but reminds me that this is a budget option.
Despite this fact, the throne is sturdy and functional and it will stay like that for quite a log time
Cheap and useful
I bought that throne for using at home 3 years ago. Noticing my light weight (65 kg), the throne made well, cause it is still like new.
Height Adjustment Spindle - is important and very convenient feature for me.
Quite good.
Quite good, comfortable. The seat sways slightly despite the correct screwing.
It is useful to me, tough and light.
It is a satisfactory comfort for its price.
That is a good cost x benefit!
If you need a basic drum throne it is a good choice!
Good for the price
Lightweight and easily transportable. Comfortable for short sessions.
good Throne!
very comfortable and easy to assemble. he fulfills his job
Great stool for the price
Good throne, comfortable to use, the only downside is that the top can't be tight all the time (becomes loose after some time), but overall, you can't beat it for it's price
Great beginner chair
I purchased this seat for my Alesis Command Mesh Kit and it does the job for a good price. Setup was easy, quick and stable. I would recommend this seat as a simple solution.
