MPS-400 is a great choice

I bought it last year as an extra cymbal to my Millenium MPS-850 e-drum kit and it worked perfectly! It's smooth to play and good looking too.

Great value

My Alesis DMKII Crash Double zone is not responding really well, as I hit it so hard that I broke the bottom plastic layer so I wanted to buy a new one. The Millenium is good and double zone, but with only one jack imput (the alesis has 2) so I can't take out one of the zones and place it in another cymbal. But what I did is use it as the hi hat, as it has two zones and the original hi hat has only one, so now my hi hat is more complete. It is quite noisy as it is more robust and sturdy than the alesis ones but overall is pretty good and price-wise is a deal.

Excellent product

Bought this as an extra for my Millenium E-Drum kit. Does precisely what it is supposed to do, very good value for money.

Durable and reliable

I bought some of these for an acoustic-electronic drum kit conversion. I have some Alesis DM10 cymbal pads and some Millenium cymbal pads. The build quality of the Millenium pads is just as good as the Alesis pads. Of course the playability is down to how the drum module is configured. With the DM10 these pads perform well.

These would be good as add-on pads if you want something that is a decent size, but won't break the bank.

Hitting the right note!

I bought a set of three of these cymbal pads to replace my single zone pads and there is just no getting away with how good these are in comparison! Being able have another cymbal sound or any sound in fact on the rim makes a real difference, and also means I can use any spare ports for extra drums, a real bonus! The choke feature is fantastic and adds the feel of realism to the cymbals. My only gripe would be though, is that the rubber underside of the pads feels like the glue hasn't stuck properly, I'm sure that isn't the case but when pinching the pad to choke it, it does feel like it sticks to something them unsticks again shortly after! Overall these are excellent cymbals, and add to the enjoyment of playing my drums! A brilliant price compared to others I've seen, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone considering buying a set!

I was surpsised how well this works!

Works just as well as the similar ones which are the same make as my electronic drum kit. Nothing to complain about.

Really cool pad for home users!

I was dealing with the problem of noisy cymbal pads for a long time. I bought this one primarily to make my set a bit more quiet. Now I'll probably stick with Millenium pads. Way cooler than Alesis and KAT stuff I've been using.

good n cheap replacement for roland

I use this cymbal pad as a second crash and china for my Roland TD-11.

It has cymbal adapter you should use to allow cymbal wave properly + cable.

Looks like a larger copy of Roland CY-8 but it has lower sensitivity to my mind, I had to tune the settings in drum module to make the pad sound on the same volume level as standard CY-8.

I think it's a good option for those who what to enlarge their e-drum setup for lower price.

UPDATE

It turned out that it has a different resistance compared to Roland cymbals. Therefore it was a tricky thing to connected it via drum splitter cable (1 stereo jack - out of module, 1 mono jack to rack tom, 1 mono jack to this cymbal). Instead of a full sound this cymbal allowed me to produce a choke sound only.

Not 100% reliable

I have been using this pad for a while now. I bought it to use as crash 2 as I wanted the flexibility of dual zone and "chokeability", but it has been demoted to cymbal 4 as it mis-triggers more than it should, even for the price. Once or twice a rehearsal or gig there will be a silent spot where there should be a nice cymbal sound at the end of a fill. Most people listening will miss it, but I'm afraid I don't.

Still reasonable value, but I think it is probably the most disappointing of the many Millenium products I have bought over the years.

Good replacement cymbal

I bought 2 of those as a replacement for my broken Roland CY-8 cymbals.

It comes with a full set, so no need to buy additional wires and mounting adapters.

Quality is pretty decent. When I grab the edge it gives mi slight noise, like something is not properly glued together, But that is ok as it hardly audible.

So far it feels a lot like original Roland cymbals and I do not see much difference. Although the cymbals are little bit thicker and heavier. Noise level is comparable to Roland's cymbals. And these are almost twice cheaper and I think worth buying.

Will see how long they last.

Good cymbal

I bought this cymbal because my old one broke. This is a good replacement for the Alesis DM8 and DM10 stock cymbals. They look the same and they feel the same. The noise that the cymbal makes outside the headphones are not loud and can be easily played without annoying the neighbours if you live in an apartment ;) Overall I'm very pleased with this cymbal and I'd recommend you to buy it too

Excelllent cymbal - exactly the same as Alesis DM10 cymbals and are a direct replacement for the HiHat or grabable crash.

We've now owned it for a couple of weeks and it is the biz. The quality is exactly the same as the Alesis cymbal but for a fraction of the price.

I recommend this product. Very impressed.

Not good enough

I had a lot of these pads and they all broke pretty quickly. The trigger works pretty good, but isn't very gradable, it's either very sensitive or not sensitive at all. The biggest problem is they start to crack and break all over the place.
