A great addition to any kit

I added this to my Simmons SD600 kit as a ride cymbal. The second zone didn't work with the Simmons module but still very happy with this pad.

The rubber playing surface is thick and durable but also feels very comfortable to play on. Movement is much more natural than the stock cymbal pads on my kit, as those are mounted off-center and this is mounted directly in the center like a real cymbal. The pad is very responsive and I'm able to get a good variety of velocities out of it. Would definitely buy one of these again.

Excellent cymbal pad!

I'm using three of 12" Millenium pads and one 14" with my Roland V-Drums kit as a replacement of the original Roland CY5 cymbals. The two original cymbals didn't last long, the edge sensors stopped responding. I bought two 12" Milleniums as a replacement, and I was pleasantly surprised by their playability and durability. I then also replaced the other original Roland cymbals with the third 12" that I use as a hi-hat, and a 14" for a ride cymbal. It was two years ago, they still going strong, I haven't regretted a purchase for a second.

Extra crash cymbal for DM10 Mk2 Pro

Purchased to use an additional crash on my Alesis DM10 Mk2 Pro kit.

It works perfectly well for my needs and is basically the same as the cymbals that came with the kit, but is unbranded.

For the price, the quality is good and i would highly recommend if you're looking to expand your kit on a budget.

A very good option for a ride pad

I wanted to expand my playing to have a second 'ride' pad to play with my left hand also. This was the best choice I found for my drum set. Already familiar with Millenium cymbals, I ordered this one and have no problems with it. The playability is very good, it's a heavy ride cymbal, with two zones. It has good response for both zones, no problems here. It's one of my favorite cymbals in my e-drum set since it's so realistic in striking. Noise is not a problem, it's not noisier than say the kick drum pad. Totally recommend this product

Por el precio que tiene no se puede exigir mucho. Como crash puede funcionar bien, pero si se quiere usar como ride es muy poco sensible.

Además, no distingue bien entre las distintas zonas. Tiene una zona muy sensible cerca de la campana, pero luego el resto del platillo hay que pegarle muy fuerte para que suene.

Por otro lado, es MUY RUIDOSO. Al ser una goma dura, el sonido que emite es bastante fuerte. Dato a tener en cuenta si se tienen vecinos.

Al poco tiempo de uso, se desgasta la goma y queda marcada con los golpes del palo.

Como pro, es un plato grande por el precio que tiene. Encontrar platillos de este tamaño a tan bajo precio es difícil.

Es el mismo platillo chino que usan otras marcas como alesis, millenium y otras. La única diferencia es la marca que los distribuye.

El cable que viene es bueno y la mariposa de plástico pero está bien.

No volvería a comprarlo. Solamente en caso de un muy bajo presupuesto y buscando usarlo como crash.

okay for the price

a good size crash with a working choke switch. fully compatible with my roland td11. there's one problem i have with it, after 4 or 5 years it started giving a "top" signal when i'm hitting the edge instead of the "edge" signal.

The best cymbal that works flawasly with roland e kits

I searcged forba cheap extra pad cymbal without pay too much on a famous brands,and was amazed when it arrived,they give you cable and little boom stand to handle the cymbal and attach it if you need it (in my case i will use it later if i need to) the best part was to find out to change the pad velocity on the settings of my td 15 drum module but the quality and the pad itself are the best yku can get for the price.

Budget soultion that is better then expected

The pad is well put together from good materials and triggers better then one would expect for that money out of the box.

Couple of things you may not notice:

First, this pad is 3 zone - it has two membrane switches - one around the edge and another under the bell area. The bell switch is wired through a 10KOhm resistor as on the Yamaha e-cymbals so folks with Yamaha modules may find this pad interesting as it will trigger 3 zones for them. ATV owners can benefit too if wanted a 14" ride cymbal - just set type as PCY-135

Second, important for Roland owners - the piezo is oddly wired through 65KOhm resistor and so the pad is too cold. I had to pump sens up to 19 to make it reach 127.

But the good part: If you are a little into DIY and not afraid to solder a wire, you can make it a really great pad. All you need to do is bypass that 65KOhm with a wire so piezo goes directly to tip. And if add a second 35mm piezo in the already existing spot - then it becomes a really great pad!

Great cymbal

Use the as a ride as part of a hybrid kit I've just put together.

The kit is for quiet practice at home so needs to be pretty quiet to keep my neighbours sweet!

It's a very solid bit of kit, and really responsive! All three zones play as expected.

No issues with it really. Happy with it.

nice stereo cymbal pad

I bought it as an extension for my Millenium E-drumkit, served me really well. Soft rubber padding has low noise. Picked up every hit correctly, never got any problems with it. Can be great alternative for more expensive pads, as well. I recommend it.

Bargain e-cymbal.

I build a lot of custom kits and have recently branched into electic/acoustic hybrid drum kits. After searching the web for reasonable priced e-cymbals that actually work well, I stumbled upon these. They trigger perfectly using Roland or Yamaha modules. Although they noise of the stick contact is slightly louder than more expensive models, it's not overly loud and can't be heard from the next room. I've bought quite a few of these cymbals to add to hybrid kits that I've built and have had no complaints from any customers, even had one customer ask where I got them so he could buy some more!

Barely crashable

Budget cymbal pad with an average built and performance. Have to crank up the sensitivity value on the drum module all the way to the max to get a reasonable sound. It pales in comparison to the rest of my (Yamaha) cymbal pads. It's a simple case of 'you get what you pay for'....
